I bought this viewer mainly to observe nighttime wildlife. I opted for this one primarily because it had a relatively large capacity battery, claimed a fairly long range of view, wouldn’t break the bank, and had good reviews. Overall, I’m pleased with my choice.

First impressions are important for me and they came packaged in a very high quality box which will be tempting to hang on to. A great start. You will not be disappointed with the goggles themselves. They are lightweight yet not at all poor quality. Lightweight means that you can hold them for an extended period which is great. The unit is rechargeable with an included USB C cable. Accessories consist of a 32GB sd card, neck lanyard, headband, mount for helmet, cleaning cloth, user manual and a good-quality carrying bag.

Operation is straightforward. Navigation and setting values are intuitive. It has an optional flashlight which is quite bright and brightness adjustable.

The night vision has 7 IR settings and it really is a magical experience if you’ve never had experience with this technology . When seeing a clear picture on the screen in pitch darkness, I had to take a peek to see if a light was being beamed forward somehow. But no, nothing visible and yet a clear B/W picture on the screen!! Tap the IR button to select from 7 levels of intensity.

Very cool! I can see several uses and I’m sure you might have your own in mind. One is as an additional security device where you can see whilst remaining unseen if no light source is directed on you. It will also be useful for watching critters in the dark without spooking them. Birds, squirrels whatever. It will also come in handy for anyone who needs to navigate in the dark in water or through brush or narrow trails.

All in all a great functional quality gadget which will bring hours of use and much fun.

Works perfectly as advertised for seeing in the dark. Not just low light, NO light. Comes with a nice carrying case and accessories like a headband, SD card. The photo and video quality is also good. The extra bonus is the flashlight, it's more convenient for nighttime activities. Perfect for spotting animals in your yard at night, etc. Would be great idea as a gift for a anyone like exploring dark.

I live near a park that has a lot of animals, and I use this device every night to watch them. I have seen coyotes, foxes, bobcats, deer, owls, and even a puma! It is so thrilling to observe them in their natural habitat, without disturbing them or being seen by them. This device is also great for camping trips, vacations, and any outdoor activity. I wish I had it when I went to Africa last year. It would have been awesome to see the lions, elephants, and giraffes at night. My kids love playing with it too, and they learn a lot about nature and science.

Easy to use, clear instructions. Seems well built, camera has many features, even a review mode so you know immediately if you got the pic or video. Has 1/4 threaded insert on bottom for tripod. Includes IR and flashlight. Very nice case, It was made for the night vision goggles, not universal. I don't know how long batteries last but it was longer than my dog wanted to stay outside, I'd guess hours.

The device is amazing, I can see clearly in pitch dark. The flashlight is super bright. I like this machine very much.

This was a Christmas present for my 13 year old son. He's been wanting a real night vision device since I palmed off on him a set of glasses with flashlights attached to each earpiece.
This works. The display is fairly clear, and detail can be discerned well. It does take decent photos & videos to the card. My son loves exploring in the near neighborhood after dark with a friend and always comes back excited about everything he's seen.

These are cool night vision goggles that work well for what they are. These are not high end military quality goggles. They ARE have fun camping with the kids goggles. You can even use these to walk trails at night without a flashlight.
