P7 DLP Portable Smart Mini Beam Holographic Projector 250ANSI

This is a good little projector . couple of minor things , the volume control goes up and down in steps , not a gradual gradual volume control . Would have been nice to be able to adjust screen size from unit in certain situations . I personally use my Apple TV connected via HDMI , seem to get a better quality picture than using the built in android system, and get faster response times when loading apps .

Excellent picture quality super for a good film

Sound and picture quality is great. Recommend the gorilla pod for positioning etc otherwise this has been a total game changer for home movie nights. Netflix is a bit clunky on here otherwise other apps like Prime work well. I tend to store alot of files on my NAS and stream it using VLC which works a treat and when needed pen drives etc work fine as well, just download a file manager. Battery is good as well and if watching back to I just run an extension cable to it and plug it in.

I bought this as an upgrade for an ageing portable projector and was expecting great things based upon the reviews on YouTube, however I have ended up very disappointed and have today reluctantly returned the product for a refund, here are the main reasons why it was not up to scratch for me:1. Noisy fan, much louder than I expected and intrusive at low volumes.2. You cannot adjust the volume accurately, the steps are too large, especially at the low end.3. The picture is sharp but just not bright enough to use in anything less than near blackout.4. The choice of streaming apps is severely limited for UK users, would need to add a Fire Stick.5. The auto-focus whilst accurate does not alway kick in and has to be manually prompted.On the plus side:1. Size and weight are very acceptable, perfect for travel.2. Sound quality is decent and it would double as a travel speaker.3. USB C charging is much more convenient that a power brick.4. it looks great, nice design, would benefit from a lens cover though.5. Feels well built.I am going to try a Xgimi Mogo Pro which on paper looks very similar but I have learned my lesson here so will not get my hopes up until I have had a chance to put it through its paces.Overall, this is not a bad device, but in my view it is not a great one either. Anyone thinking about this as a TV replacement/substitute should steer clear but as a travel companion, it might just about be good enough depending upon how demanding you are.

The best thing I've ever bought, can't live without it

The projector itself is brilliant. Picture is excellent. Sound is great. I returned the product on the basis that it was not compatible with my iPhone. Also, I had a nightmare with getting Netflix, once on Netflix I couldn’t move the curser or play anything. Also, the battery dies pretty quick and the charger lead is rather short so you have to be close to a plug socket. I hope Nebula take this feedback on board and make the changes, if they do.. I’ll be the first to buy it.

There is nothing much to dislike about this product. The picture quality is very good. The brightness is fairly good but as always, works better in darker spaces. As you can see from my pictures it is in average daylight and still works quite well.The sound from the 8 watt speaker works really well and gives surprisingly good bass an clarity.Most of the time I have my Apple TV plugged in to this device and is a great replacement for my old Tv.As far as small projectors go, this is quite expensive but, if you think about the price of a TV and the size of screen you get, it’s well worth the money.

Was initially hesitant about spending what seemed like a lot on a portable projector but after a few days of use I can say I made the right decision.Quality is excellent, and the portability essentially means you have the option of having a HD widescreen tv up to 120 inches in any room of your house.As someone who regularly buys new tech and gagets I can say this is one of the best things I've bought in years, worth the money.

I only use it when it’s dark. Picture and brightness is amazing from a small package. So far so good
