K&F Concept Nano-K series Black-Mist 1/4 filter 67mm
The filter makes a good impression of quality. The effect is gentle and it gives the images a creative look. I tested the filter with the Tamron 28 -75 2.8 G2 and am satisfied with the results. The model's face is slightly blurred and saves time in post-processing.
Price - performance and image results are good.

Good filters can be inexpensive after all
Lenses of modern digital cameras are increasingly being trimmed for sharpness and imaging performance, which is of course good on the one hand, but in turn also brings with it a dilemma, namely that subjects often appear harsh and contrasting and images, somehow lack a certain charm.
To defuse this modern “look” a bit, to make motifs a bit softer, highlights diffuse and a bit softer, that's what effect filters like the Nano-K Black Diffusion from K&F Concept are for and are particularly popular with cinegraphs.
But photographers also benefit from such filters, as portraits, for example, get a pleasant, somewhat dreamy look without losing too much sharpness.
The diffusion effect is best when a light source, such as a window or lamp, is in the field of view.
In the beginning, you will have to experiment a bit to find the optimal filter strength for the desired look.
In my opinion, the K&F Nano-K Black Diffusion ¼, which I tried out, is ideal for gaining initial experience, as the filter strength of ¼ already makes the diffusion effect very effective, but still maintains sufficient sharpness and contrast.
Both haptically and qualitatively, there is nothing wrong with the K&F Black Diffusion. The filter is very well made and has a flat profile to avoid vignetting. The thread is cleanly worked and runs smoothly.
I couldn't notice any noticeable color shifts or vignetting.
Tip: I always buy filters according to the largest lens diameter in my inventory and adjust the filter, using step-up rings, to the lenses on which I want to use the filter right now.
This has the advantage that you only need to buy filters once and even though large filters are of course a bit more expensive, like small ones, it's worth the bottom line, as step-up rings don't cost much. It may also be worthwhile to buy a complete set of such adapter rings, with different diameters.

Must have
his K&F Concept filter screwed on smoothly to my lens, without any of the harsh turning sounds other filters made that I have tried. This filter is rather unique in my collection.
I own a lot of UV filters, but this is a diffusion filter. It produces a noticeable glow around light sources. It is a 1/4 strength filter and did produce more of a glow than another brand's 1/8 filter that I tried.
The filter itself feels thick and substantial.
You can really see the diffusion coating on the glass.
Overall, I am happy with this filter and it did what it is supposed to do. It produces a glow that is a bit

Just the right amount
Filter is well made and feels solid in the hands. I like it has the textured grip on to the edges to make it easier to screw and unscrew. This quarter strength black diffusion filter provides just the right amount of diffusion to the highlights without being overbearing. I feel like any more, and it would be obvious that you have a filter on, but any less, it would go unnoticed. Useful bit to have in your kit.

K & F - now one size
The shipment was very fast. The &F Concept Nano-K Series Black-Mist 1/4 Filter 72mm Black Promist 1/4 Optical Glass Filter is very well made and can be screwed onto the lens thread without backlash.
I've come to know a few K&F products so far. The quality (and also the price) has increased significantly. The filters are suitable for comparable manufacturers who demand far more.
I have the standard filter portfolio at home so far. This is my first filter, which should also have an effect. My anticipation and expectations were correspondingly high.
The filter gives the image a slightly dark look with a lot of nostalgia. I really enjoyed it. Also that the filter does not change the quality of the image. The filter works great when I shoot with my film simulations in JPEG. I am a passionate Fuji photographer and travel with my X-T5 or X100V. The filters and the corresponding film simulations are in perfect harmony!!!
I highly recommend the filter.

Very easy to handle thanks to matt coating and knurling
The K&F Black-Mist filter is my first filter that creates an effect. I haven't had any experience with this yet and, to be honest, I'm very pleasantly surprised. Of course, this can be completely different for someone who already has experience in this area.
The filter is delivered in the familiar K&F folding box. In addition to a plastic box in which the filter is once again wrapped, there are 3 shrink-wrapped microfiber cloths to make the filter and lens dust-free before assembly.
What I personally really like is the coating on the metal ring. Filters are often painted very smoothly and are difficult to tighten. Here, they opted for a matte and very handy coating. The grip is further supported by 2 zones with riffles and you can tighten the filter very nicely and without any problems.
It would be whining at a high level if you would now like to note an even more suitable storage box for the filter. There is nothing wrong with the fit and ease of movement of the thread. That's why I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Good handling, harmonious light effect and still a sharp photo
This filter is very well made, the glass is beautifully clear, the thread runs very smoothly and the grooves on the frame make it easy to grip.
The effect is clearly visible. The photos look harmoniously smooth, but remain well sharp. Colors are not changed. The images are somewhat “hardened” without being blurred.
For storage, the filter is stored in a simple plastic box with foam. It's nothing special, but it's well protected. Three more cleaning cloths are included in the box contents.
Overall, this is a very good product and the price is right. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this filter is necessary. It is definitely an asset and the quality is top notch. That is why we would be happy to give you the full number of stars.

Softened some sun damage on my face
I did some test shots of my face, I'll spare you the images. I have some sun damage and this filter did soften them a bit which was nice. It also softened the texture of my skin some as well.
This filter came well package and with lens cleaners which is a nice touch in packaging.
The threads screwed on without issue and I saw no anomalies, color cast or vignetting from the filter.
This is a good tool to have for anything we can do to stay out of the time suck of post photo editing the better.
