Excellent travel tripod at a very reasonable price
just received this tripod two days ago and through my initial tests, it appears to be a very well made tripod for the money. Pros: - From the initial unboxing, the tripod carry case felt very well made. I likely won't use this case because I have my own camera bag but for those who need the carry case, it's nice to see K&F include a good quality carry case with the tripod. - The tripod includes some useful accessories such as protective cover for the ball head and a smaller center column for low shots. As a landscape photographer, the smaller center column is a nice inclusion as I often like to take shots from a lower perspective and most tripods don't go very low which makes it hard to get the perfect shot. I compared many other tripods and it was nice to see K&F be one of the few tripods to have the lowest minimum height. - Fairly lightweight tripod for travel as the carbon fiber helps keep the weight down. - Tried a couple of long exposure shots with the tripod and the tripod was very sturdy. - Big ball head and thicker legs help with the stability and sturdiness of the tripod. I tried a couple of other tripods in the local camera stores however this tripod definitely felt more sturdy in comparison despite being cheaper in price. This is likely due to the thicker legs and heavy ball head which makes this tripod a bit heavier in comparison to the carbon fiber tripods from other companies. But the weight is very manageable and the additional weight makes me feel more comfortable about this tripod in windy situations. - The leg twist locks and the legs work very smoothly. I prefer the twist locks to the lever locks as you can wrap your hand around the locks and give them a quarter twist to unlock all sections of the leg. This made it very easy to set up the tripod. - The ball head and the pan feature works very smoothly. - The screw on the mounting plate has a little hook on the bottom which makes it easy to screw the plate into the camera without needing to carry a coin or some sort of tool to tighten the plate to the camera. This is such a simple feature but it's surprising that some of the tripod companies still don't include this. The plate also locks in place on the tripod as the safety locks prevent the plate from sliding through the front or back of the tripod. This is a good feature because it will prevent your precious camera gear from falling if you forget to properly lock the plate to the tripod. - This tripod reaches a great height despite being reasonably small in size. I'm 5'9 and I can slightly lower my head to see through the viewfinder on my camera when the center column is not extended to its full height. This is a bonus as I prefer not to extend the center columns of my tripod to make it extra sturdy. Even with the center column extended this tripod is very sturdy and it can reach a comfortable working height for someone much taller than me. Cons: - There's not much to dislike about the tripod. However, I wish that the tripod also included a level on the legs in addition to the level on the ball head. I noticed that once I set up the camera on the tripod, the level would get covered by the camera. This is not a deal breaker by any means as you can set up the tripod and see whether it is leveled properly before putting the camera on the tripod. However, having another level on the legs would have easily solved this problem. This may also not be a problem for people with cameras that have built-in levels. Overall, based on my initial tests I am very satisfied with the tripod. It has all of the features of the more expensive carbon fiber tripods at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this tripod to anybody looking to buy a carbon fiber travel tripod.

I'm happy with my purchase
It's my 2nd tripod the first summer very light and I used it for my bridge I switched to a reflex with a bigger zoom and I decided to take a tripod more suitable for the weight of my camera but I didn't want to too expensive. I have found this model it is really very good I take it with me every time I want to take photos of landscapes or other it is robust and well made, professional and in addition it turns into a monopod if there is no space in addition with the ball joint I can put my camera in different positions for more creative shots. Very happy with this purchase

It is definitely a good tripod
The "handle" of the machine on the ball support is a little uncomfortable. some small difficulties in taking vertical photos if the tripod is not level, in that case it is necessary to adjust the height of the legs to make the camera go vertically, if the "bracket" that connects the sphere to the machine support base had been a little longer should not have been very precise in placing the tripod level. in any case, I would buy it again for the ease of use, the versatility, the weight and the results I have appreciated so far. up to 2 seconds of exposure with light camera breeze upside down and paws placed in the bed of pebbles in a stream the photos are perfectly still.

Solid, handy and easily portable.
Good tripod, great materials, looks tough.
I state that I am speaking to you as a non-professional photographer, for what I need it goes beyond my expectations.
Various possibilities of laying the feet and inclination even on non-straight surfaces, equipped with a small level that is very convenient. I was told by a professional photographer that, at the maximum drafting, even on much more expensive tripods and of renowned brands, it is normal for manual shooting to cause small vibrations, you have to go automatic in those cases.
Recommended.

am beyond impressed with this tripod
Thank you K&F Concept for yet another awesome product!!! Just received this tripod, and I've got to say - I am completely blown away by how sturdy it is! I've been using a very basic, light-weight tripod for years (super flimsy, blows at the slightest wind, and honestly didn't think I needed anything else since it served its purpose on the most basic level; however, I've started recently getting into more photography of the human variety so figured I'd splurge on something a bit more functional. I also really enjoy long exposure, and astro photography, and I can already tell this is going to serve all of my purposes (and then some). Material quality and weight: This is a little heavy, but it's not unmanageable, and it comes with a really nice (padded!) carrying case. I could see myself bringing this on hikes easily (maybe not an 8 hour hike, but for a couple of hours? sure why not!), and will definitely bring it along for weddings and portrait sessions. Ball Head and movable areas for transitioning: This is a feature that, up until I received this tripod, I wasn't sure I wanted. The ball is larger than I expected, and is extremely secure. For reference, I've tested it with a NIkon Z5 (mirrorless, but heavy) and a 20mm s-line lens (also heavy...). Absolutely no worries with trusting my camera on this. Legs: The clips when changing position of the legs seems really secure. Time will tell with repeated use and adjustments, but even the clips that allow you to move the legs to "closed" position are metal, so I don't really see this becoming an issue with repeated opening and closing. The ability to position the centre pole downwards to take low/from-the-ground-looking-up photos is a welcomed treat. Something else I didn't know I wanted/needed until now was the fact that one of the legs has rubber/padded material so that you can grip the tripod better when adjusting it from one position to the next. What a small, yet significant, feature. It really is the little things that matter the most. I'll update my review if anything changes (i.e. durability, screws stripping in areas where they're required), but just judging from my first impressions inspecting this one compared to lesser tripods - I don't really see this one having any issues lasting for at least a few years (if not more). 100% worth the price imo, especially considering there are more well-known brands that are extremely more expensive for a lower quality product.

It looks really professional, it doesn't feel that light though ...
Let's start from the beginning, the shipment arrived precise and the bag looks well made with the shoulder strap too. The tripod to the touch gives the idea of very robust, very stable, but not too light (1,375 kg on the scale). As you can see from the photos, a leg can be unhooked by means of a rotating screw in order to create the monopod. The stops of the telescopic feet are very well made and make everything stable.
There is no question about the quality of the product, it just gives the idea of well done.

Takes time to become familiar with it's design.
decent compromise for a light but sturdy tripod that is very portable, so far I have not managed to wreck it, check in with me a year from now.

Lightweight, durable, highly adjustable!
This tripod took a bit of time to get used to because it stores with the legs up over the ball-head but now that I have done it a few times it is easy! The max height is great for getting above railings on the dock or other similar barriers to get the shot. Also being able to take out and use the monopod, or turn it upside-down to get stable low-angle or ground shots makes it super-versatile! The only "slight" negative is that the ball-head lock isn't super tight so you have to really torque it to ensure your camera won't move. Otherwise I love it!
