Not the best, but satisfying enough.
Hello everyone! Hope you enjoy your monocular life. I have some information for you today. This monocular isn't bad, but I was concerned about backlight flare. So I decided to install a hood. Let's finish. 54mm, folks! The 54mm fit perfectly! The body's rubber cover was moved slightly to reveal the screw hole at the top and a 54mm to 55mm step-up ring was fitted. (... It fits my case smoothly, but please do so at your own risk.) In my opinion, the flare seems to be much better and the sharpness of the image has improved. I would like to think that the effect was more than investing less than $10 and risking losing some portability. And what's more! You can use CPL filters and all sorts of other filters as many times as you like, and you can potentially attach a teleconversion lens to play with, although I doubt it will work properly. It's a dream come true... Uh? Am I the only one dreaming like this? In the meantime, I've uploaded a photo of an attached 55mm camera lens hood if you'd like to take a look. Also some cute birds. ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ My hobby is observing and photographing wild birds with monoculars and smartphones. Sometimes I use a tripod, but I prefer handheld when possible. I used Nikon 6×18ED but it was too dark. So I bought this one which uses a 50 diameter ED lens. The 50 diameter lens size was very effective for my purposes. Bright! It's bright! Unfortunately, the chromatic aberration was quite large and the effect of the ED lens was not as high as I expected, but maybe my expectations were too high. Or maybe the price is right. As you take darker images, the aberration becomes much less noticeable. It is still in the testing phase, but you can check it in the attached photo. I think it's a good value monocular for those who think this level of photography is sufficient. I'm also happy with the price. However, I plan to test it with the [Opticron dba vhd+ 10x42 monocular] or [VANGUARD VEO HD2 1042M] for another jump. What? Are you saying it's wiser to buy a good camera? Ha-ha-ha-ha! I used the Huawei P30 Pro. The video was recorded with the standard lens, and photos were taken with the 5x telephoto lens. (Standard lens is 500mm with digital zoom x 1.6, telephoto lens is 1620mm) Slow motion shooting is recommended as handheld video footage can be blurry. It's also useful to use a dot sight together, even if it's a cheap sight. It also makes it easier to spot wild birds if you're spotting them. Well, I wish you all a better monocular life!

The zoom telescope has a sharp image throughout.
We unpacked the 10-30x50 telescope and found everything as described. The hand tripod and the mobile phone holder are made of plastic. The very light tripod has a stable ball head and is sufficiently stable. It should, too, if you want to attach your cell phone and the holder to it. The table tripod alone is quite useful. The mobile phone holder is more of a gimmick that we would not use in practice. It takes a relatively long time before we had attached and aligned the mobile phone together with the holder on the telescope. The picture that you get on your cell phone is very difficult to focus on. Due to the distance between the optics, the image naturally has wide vignetting and can only be seen as a small circle. We have not yet been able to get a photo image like in the advertisement with a mobile phone holder on a telescope. As with all mounts of this type, the whole construction is very sensitive to touch. The telescope itself makes a good impression. It is robustly built and feels good in the hand. Settings run smoothly and evenly. Once positions have been set, they don't change so easily by themselves when you carry them around. The image sharpness is satisfactory in every zoom range. Two rubber caps are included to protect the optics. They fit their positions tightly. Conclusion: Robust and handy telescope. weatherproof (No rain has penetrated) Good optical properties. Sharpness and zoom settings work well.

Handy, good performance
In summary: Impressive for beginners and amateurs, easy to use. Pretty shaky without stabilization at this zoom. In detail: Compared to my outdated binoculars, I, as a layman, am impressed by the magnification and, above all, the zoom option. The sharpness can be adjusted very well and easily. I cannot measure the magnification power myself. At full zoom, however, it is difficult to hold the monocular freely in your hand - you should hang it up somewhere or use the tripod. The tripod is not particularly large or stable, so it only serves its purpose to a limited extent. A very nice feature is the holder for the smartphone: you clamp the device in the holder, align the opening with your smartphone camera and fix everything with an adjusting screw. Then the holder is clamped onto the telescope. I had to stabilize and hold my Pixel 6 here because it is relatively heavy and the construction does not hold securely. Depending on the camera, there is strong vignetting. Tip: If the smartphone camera has an optical zoom switch to zoom, I was able to almost completely remove the vignetting. It takes a bit of practice to get a sharp, shake-free image. Then you can certainly land one or the other snapshot. Alternative to the camera with telephoto zoom? - No way. A nice feature and good for the occasional snapshot in the garden? - Surely.

sharpness
Surprised by the characteristics in relation to the price. It's pretty sharp, the image is stable, the components seem to be of high quality, and it feels good in the hand.

From a binocular connoisseur
am a "good" connoisseur of binoculars made in China. For various reasons, this is the fifth one I've owned. The box is sturdy and doesn't have that cheap "Chinese knockoff vibe". I was impressed. This scope comes with a lifetime warranty. lol I won't hold my breath on that one, but at least it's there. The case is made of sturdy canvas with a belt loop. Surprisingly, it's lined with some sort of microfiber. Bonus. The scope is a little heavier and has a larger circumference than what I would call "ideal" for carrying around in your pocket at will, but it fits. This might be too big for people with smaller hands unless you're using it with two hands. I have to move my hand back toward the smaller taper to set focus and hold with one hand. To make this easier I also had to remove the lanyard screw. I don't want the lanyard attached so not a big issue for me. The focus knob is perfectly tight. Light enough to twist a finger but not loose enough to twist when sliding my bag in and out. The camera mount is sturdier and more secure than the others I've tried. Once set and adjusted, my phone held itself perfectly in place and I was able to take photos with perfect clarity. The scope feels very well built and I have high hopes for this one. I'll try to update after a year of heavy use and see if it still holds up.

Not very suitable for photos, okay as binoculars
The K&F Concept 10-30x50 HD monocular telescope arrives securely packaged. Everything smells pretty chemical, the smell seems to have spread from the bag to everything else. The monocular makes a handy, robust impression. The colors are muted, the surface is non-slip and the magnification settings are easy to use. The enlarged image is clear, although it feels slightly tinted. So it can be used as binoculars. The points of criticism refer to the use with the mobile phone. The tripod is valuable and stable, with a little patience you can find a stable combination with cell phone and monocular without the tripod tipping over. The mobile phone holder is made of plastic, when it is pulled out to adapt to the width of the mobile phone it squeaks and ratchets, the light padding doesn't help there either. The main problem is the interaction of holder, monocular and mobile phone. First you have to position the hole in the bracket over one of the camera lenses that are now available several times. Then the monocular is attached. However, since this has a weight of a good 350 grams, it pulls the holder away from the camera lens and the resulting gap means that you can no longer get a clean photo. So for a good result you have to stabilize the monocular with one hand and use the cell phone/the shutter release with the other. This takes time, patience and a steady hand. This is nothing for a quick snapshot. In addition, without a mobile phone camera zoom, you only get a small round section enlarged, you only get a full picture with zoom and then the photo quickly becomes shaky and blurred. For a meaningful use with the smartphone, a more stable mobile phone holder would be necessary, which can counteract the weight of the monocular. In any case, with a Samsung A 70, the results were disappointing.

Okay for occasional use!
The design of the monocular is quite successful. It lies well and securely in the hand, it is easy to transport and can also be operated very easily. The workmanship of the monocular is also convincing so far. Of course, you immediately notice that you are not holding a high-end device with high precision, which can easily cost 10 times the price of the monocular reviewed here, but rather a mass-produced model. In my opinion, however, it would be wrong to expect anything else, and this monocular is quite solidly manufactured on its own. As for the performance of the monocular, I'm a bit ambivalent. In principle, it delivers a decent image and a usable magnification, but I have serious doubts as to whether the magnification is actually as high as stated in the product description. The difference to high-quality binoculars and monoculars with high-quality, precisely manufactured lenses is also most evident when using the monocular (of course). There is no question that this monocular is suitable for "woods and meadows" use in the hobby area, but if you want to do more serious nature observation etc., you should invest in something of higher quality. The smartphone holder is still more of a gimmick. This monocular is currently priced at around 40 euros - in principle a cheap price, for which a fundamentally fair equivalent is offered here. All in all: for occasional use when hiking etc. this is a nice monocular and if you don't have too high demands you will certainly be happy with this. However, if you are more interested in observing nature or animals or would like to take enlarged pictures with your cell phone, you should probably invest in a higher-quality and higher-priced model. I get a total of almost 4 stars.

Good monocular at a very fair price
The monocular arrives well packaged and is well equipped for the actual purpose. I actually only use the monocular on the shooting range for distant shots. Of course, it can also be used for outdoor activities as recommended in the product description. Here are my positive impressions: ✅ compact ✅ high-quality workmanship ✅ robust ✅ non-slip, non-slip surface ✅ waterproof (has survived heavy rain without any problems) An IP standard is not listed ✅ adjustable eye cap to protect against light ✅ stable tripod ✅ carrying bag, carrying strap and cleaning cloth included ✅ very good resolution and zoom ability

great monocular
This monocular works very well under the right conditions. A tripod is highly recommended if you want clear and stable footage. The monocular has a 1/4" screw hole for mounting. So far I'm very happy with what I've achieved with this device.

✨ Just the right thing for hiking or traveling ✨
Since I travel often and always like to explore the area to take as many photos as possible as memories, the monocular telescope was just right for me. After it was delivered to me well packaged, it was immediately unpacked. The first impression was very positive, it was safe and well packed and promised a good finish. I was very enthusiastic about the accessories that came with it, a phone holder with a metal tripod enables even more usability, which I will come back to in more detail later. The hand strap allows for easy transport and secure holding if the telescope is to be used without a mount. I find the fabric bag very nice, because the telescope can be safely stowed away for transport and thus does not get damaged. So after taking a good look at everything, I figured we should just try it out in the field, so I picked up the telescope and opened the cover and looked through it, after a few turns of the adjustment dial, the image became very sharp, no, even overwhelmingly accurate! The zooming (x30 zoom) was also very accommodating, having no trouble seeing something in the sky or on the more distant races in great detail. It was a lot of fun, so I decided to try it out on the go, so I packed everything carefully and took it to the lake. Arriving at the lake, the telescope was set up immediately, this time I wanted to take photos with it and decided to screw on the bracket, after a few looks at the instructions and trying it out, this worked perfectly and without any further difficulties, now I just looked for an increase and my cell phone in the bracket plugged in, aligned a little so that the phone could deliver a sharp picture through the telescope lens. Since my cell phone actually has a zoom, which is really not worth mentioning, I was very happy when I saw that the 47 MP of my camera comes into its own thanks to the zoom from the telescope. So I zoomed in on the water, took some pictures of it and was able to capture some nice pictures of swans with their young. I was having so much fun that I didn't want to stop. After a long day of taking lots of pictures, everything was disassembled again, the telescope carefully packed away in the bag and transported home. When I got home I can only say that I am really enthusiastic about the telescope, it enriches my photography (my hobby in my spare time) and it is also a lot of fun. For the current price of 45.99 I can only give a clear buy recommendation. I am already looking forward to the next holiday, because this telescope will definitely be part of the basic equipment. Accordingly, fully deserved 5 stars. Top product!
