100x100mm Square Filter Kit ND1000 Square Filter + Metal Filter Holder + 8pcs Adapter Rings for DSLR (SN25T1)

A few years ago, I started beefing up my camera equipment. I had a Canon 5D Mark IV camera body, but didn’t have great glass. So, I started my gear journey by upgrading my lenses. I now have four amazing lenses including a 70-200, 24-70, 100mm Macro, and a Wide Angle lens. After I finalized my collection of lenses, I started looking at accessories I needed to accompany those lenses and came up with a short list of items that included high-quality filters. The problem I had was that I needed to be able have filters that works with all my lenses. Buying filters for each one of your lenses can get really cost prohibitive. So, one solution I found was to get a square filter with step-down rings. K&F Concept has a great option for this type of set-up so I gave it a try.

About a month ago, I shot photos at a wedding on a mountaintop in Tennessee. It was in the middle of the afternoon and the sun was super bright at the location of the ceremony. The venue was huge and I wanted to pack my camera bag somewhat light so that I didn’t have to struggle with tons of equipment. The square filter set from K&F concept was perfect for this type of work. The kit is lightweight and it makes it possible to use the one filter for several different sizes of lenses. During this wedding I was working with an 82mm lens and a 77mm lens as my primary glass. At the ceremony site, I had to quickly swap lenses and reapply the filter in order to get the shots the couple wanted. I found gaps in the ceremony where I could quietly and quickly change lenses and attach the filters without disturbing the event. It worked perfectly and even though some people might consider it cumbersome, I thought it was a lot easier than having to swap lenses and then screw filter into each lens.

When using these filters, I shot exclusively in RAW, but did not perceive any color cast from the filters. The mount is solid and the filter is well-protected by the soft lining in the case. It’s very easy to attach the mount to the lenses and in my opinion is actually easier to work with than individual filters.

I do feel like the lens adapter could fit a little more snuggly onto the camera lens, but I’m definitely not complaining about that and it is certainly not a dealbreaker. It’s just a tweak that could make the product even better than it already is.

One of the most appealing features of this product is its price. At $73, it’s much more budget-friendly than purchasing a single ND1000 filter. This is a great set-up for beginners and professionals alike.

No, they're not super cheap, but check the price on the bigger named product makers and you'll see these ARE a value. They work like a champ, I can use any 100mm wide filter and they are solidly in place. If you're thinking of going with a filter holder system, this is one to consider.

I don't regret buying it, I was afraid because I spoke well about the product but they said they were too tight to get it out of the ring, but the truth... I prefer it to be like this and I feel sure it won't fall out

This setup is perfect for my lenses on my pentax k50. The quality is definitely there and surpasses most other on the market. The glass is very nice and the packaging is great.

The best ND filter out there.

I bought this ND filter kit as I have had a great experience with K&F (their tripod is brilliant) and was looking for a system that would work with all my lenses. Firstly, the quality of the packaging and storage is extremely high, the glass comes in its own case that keeps it clean and safe. Secondly, it's very easy to set up and use (a little fiddly if you hand are cold) and thirdly, the picture quality is great, there is no colour casting (the colours you see in the images above is my editing, not the fault of the ND filter) and it allowed me to blur the water and clouds in the middle of the day.

So, I brought this to see why it was more expensive than the cheaper filters, but a lot cheaper than the likes of lee filters etc, I have been extremely impressed!I have taken this out today and although an over cast day, and I went to the beach at low tide, I thought I would use this as a chance to see if it’s any good.The first wow I had was the packaging... not something I usually bother about, but it is a thing of beauty. Then the quality of the mount rings, they are solid unlike all the other sets I have had that the mount rings have broken after a use or two. The quick realease ring took a couple of goes to get on then I noticed you have to put the far side in first then it locks in place really easily.Now the most important thing... the glass filter itself. Packaged really well, it does seem to be slightly static, but a rub down with a cloth and it doesn’t seem to attract dust at all. It holds tightly in the holder and is defiantly not going to move once in place. The quality of the glass looks awesome. Images have come out clean, and not a colour cast (although I thought it would have a green hue from looking at the filter the images do not seem to have any noticeable cast at all) and it does seem to be almost exactly 10 stops.I would easily recommend this to those looking to move into long exposure photography as it is well made, super easy to use and quality bit of kit to add some variety to your photography.I have attached a comparison of what the camera gave in auto and what I could get from the same scene with the filter.

I had never owned a K&F Concept filter before and was pleasantly surprised when I first used it in my landscape photography. The reverse graded ND filters of the popular brands of photo filters are usually quite expensive and this one in particular is cheaper and achieves results that correspond to those of the most prestigious filter brands and are even better. It is made of glass, which is an advantage over resin filters as it is not easily scratched. I really liked the filter cover, which is made of leather with internal protection. In short, I really liked this filter and I am sure that I will use it very often in my landscape shots.
