Does this unit calibrate by itself, without asking it to? a manual for the pth-9c says it ""auto-calibrates"" & must be kept in a ventilated area.

Our PTH-9C CO2 Detector has calibration capabilities. You can press three buttons at the same time in an open environment after shutdown and let it stand for 200 seconds to calibrate this CO2 meter.
