No. The inside unit uses a DC power cord. The exterior unit uses regular batteries.

The wind speed and direction are real time.

There is a total for so far this year, and one for hourly, daily, week, month, year, depending on how it is set up by you. There is a running total of all rain (can be reset).

Yes, it comes with a mount which is a plastic pipe with a pivot at the base. I'm sure you could mount the station itself on the same size pipe. The hardest thing would be getting it level. I'm not sure what diameter the pipe is but I would guess the outside diameter is around 1 in. The pipe in the picture is part of the base, and the unit sits over the end of the pipe. Hope this answers your question.

The display is supposed to be always on if the power supply is plugged in. Mine would not stay on. Sent it back.

It’s about one time per 10 seconds. I love the unit and have no complaints.

It's about 6 ft. just for the display monitor and mode selector. The remote Sensor(s) are wireless and can be located up to 100 meters away.

John, I would mount thois station as high and clear of any obstructions as possible. Wind direction and speed are the most effected by being near a house or trees.

Absolutely, we have had ours mounted on top of our barn about 60 yards (120 feet ) and it works like a champ. Good product, very accurate.
