Weight is great but ....
I purchased this tripod for a trip to Turkey, specifically to photograph the hot air balloons in Cappadocia. I wish I had tested it a bit more before the trip. It is light weight. Loved the carrying bag. However, the head would not tighten enough to stabilize the camera movement unless completely level - hard to do in sand and where set up had to be quick. I would be taking a time exposure only to see the camera start to slowly swing.
