I bought this action camera for my husband as we do already own one that we have been sharing but we have an upcoming trip to do an adventure activity and we have been instructed that we are not allowed to take our mobile phones or any other recording equipment with us in case they get dropped and break (which is likely!) but we are allowed action cameras that can be clipped to the safety harnesses. Well we both want to be able to film from our own view point so another one was a must!I chose this particular one because honestly the cheap price point was simply hard to resist.I was dubious that for the price that we would be getting a good quality camera, but decided it was worth the risk.Well actually it’s really amazing! Especially for the price point.Now obviously it’s not going to be the same quality of the original action camera (I won’t name the brand as I’m not sure if we are allowed, but I’m sure you know who I’m referencing, and it has a much steeper price point!) but it IS a good camera nevertheless.I’d say it’s the exact same quality as those in the £50 range, so really it’s a decent saving.The battery lasts well enough (a good few hours) and the picture quality is really good. Playback is simple, and honestly whilst instructions are provided I personally find it much easier to google these sort of things on YouTube and actually watch what they’re doing and follow.It comes with a waterproof case that does protect the camera whilst underwater or from the rain, which so far has also done its job.You also are provided with all the necessary accessory add ons that allow you to clip it to your bike, helmet, etc which is super handy for not having to buy these parts separately and then worry about if they’d be the right fit, etc...If it doesn’t last forever then it really doesn’t matter for how cheap it is also, I’d be much more concerned if it were the expensive camera, but I can use this pretty much anywhere and everywhere I want to, and not panic that it will possibly drop and break.It’s worth it for that alone.You will need to purchase an SD card for it separately, but that’s the only extra add on that you’ll really need, but it is required for the storage memory.
