Simple and effective. Set & Forget.
I purchased the CoolLife Hunting Camera on the rebound from a poor experience with the CamPark T45 (freezing scroll through, tacky build and irritating jingles). With hindsight I wish I’d gone with the CoolLife from the start. The build is almost identical to most of the other trail cams in that price range as are the layout and functionality. The performance and quality, however have so far been excellent.Set up in the back of the garden on rainy nights, it has captured a range of nocturnals and, staggeringly, a badger we didn’t know we had! I have used the stills setting at max resolution on 3-frame burst and stills & video setting. The latter is a bit annoying since it takes the stills before the video - meaning that the video often only captures the disappearing creature.Another glitch is that the date/time stamp seems to lose a day, meaning that the files are incorrectly dated when it comes to storage. Also, the time stamp on the files does not include seconds so, if ordering them by creation rather than name, the 3-frame bursts may be out of sequence (as they occur within the same minute).Niggles aside this is an effective little product for the price and, in my opinion, markedly superior to the CamPark T45 and T70.
