This bag looked like it would also take my camera with it's battery ...
I was looking for a small holster style bag for my DLSR so that I wouldn't have to take my large back pack whenever I wanted to go out shooting. As I have several lens and other bits and pieces I normally end up taking my backpack even on short trips. This is where this holster style case is ideal.
This bag looked like it would also take my camera with it's battery grip attached, so when I tried it for the first time I was please that it did fit. Others bags that I'd seen looked too small. The bag is quite accomodating so I had no problems fitting them in. I did have to remove the insert to achieve this, but this is a small sacrifice to make. The insert is useful if you detach the lens from the camera as it acts as a protective barrier between the body and the lens.
I've been using the side pockets to store a filter holder and filters as they are just the right size. The zipable inside pocket is good for memory cards and smaller items like cables and card readers and as it's inside it's protected..
Another feature of this bag is the rain cover. I've yet to use it, but it was something I wanted to make sure it had one.
The inside of the bag is well padded and protects the contents well. I was unfortunate to knock the bag off the sofa onto a hard floor but there wasn't any damage to the camera or lens.
I found the shoulder strap very comfortable as it is long enough to hang on your shoulder and cross it over your chest to spread the weight.
Overall this bag is great if you just want to take your body and one lens out for a stroll without lugging a heavy bag.
