Good quality for the money, a bit small for taller people like me.
To get the couple of things that I don't like about this bag out of the way up front, I find it a little bit too much on the compact side for my frame. Even though I generally don't leave the house with a whole ton of camera equipment and what I do use tends to be compact itself I feel like I look a little silly wearing this bag as a 6 foot tall grown man. It tends to ride high on the shoulders (which is fine, generally, as there is no hip belt nor does it need one) but doesn't extend very far down my back so it looks a little bit like I'm wearing a kids backpack. Second thing is there is only one side strap to secure a tripod. It holds it OK (the head won't slip through once you've secured it) but it leaves the legs dangling and loose - even if you strap the legs themselves together separate from the bag, it'll still swing around - I feel like it should have two sets of straps to secure a tripod at two points. Third, and very minor since it comes with a rain fly, is that the product description makes it sound like it has waterproof zippers but while they may be somewhat water resistant they are definitely not waterproof zippers.Overall quality of the bag is pretty good, all things considered. The outer materials used all seem tough and the construction of the fabrics seems good enough with decent quality stitching all around. I like that the bag is minimalist and doesn't scream "expensive camera equipment inside!". The bag holds its shape quite well even when not fully loaded with some reinforcements inside, so things tend to stay in their places better. It has a huge amount of compartment customization, the insides are just chock full of velcro attachment points and it comes with more than enough velcro padded panels to customize the shape and size of the interior to what you needs. It does take some patience to put together but once you do it seems the velcro holds well and doesn't seem like it'll make you constantly readjust the interior. The bag more than comfortably fits everything I might typically go out of the house with when intending on taking photos - my laptop, Canon SL1 and Speedlite, both of my frequently used prime lenses as well as a zoom with lots of room to spare. The laptop compartment is completely separated from the rest of the bag and properly placed at the rear, is properly padded on both sides and accessible with it's own zipper so it passes a number of potential deal breaking challenges there. There is only the single exterior zippered pocket, it's big enough to put your wallet/documentation, phone, keys etc. in. It's adequate, but I like exterior pockets for stashing frequently used items in so more would have been better.
