Good clean images
It has been decades since I played with a microscope (actually it wasn't play but part of my physics course at Cambridge University). This digital microscope is quite a lot different from the old style that I remember. It is reasonably easy to assemble and there don't appear to be any mirrors or other optics to get out of alignment. Basically you just turn it on, move the lens and screen (they are all part of one assembly) up or down, adjust the focus and lighting and you are good to go. I agree with the other reviewer on the magnification being around 35:1 and not 1300:1 (that sounds like how much the AREA is magnified but you don't measure magnification that way).
The remote comes with a battery inserted AND a spare. That threw me and I spent quite a while trying to open the remote to insert the battery. This is quite difficult (there is a black on black picture on the remote that helps a bit) if you don't want to hurt yourself or break the remote. The instruction manual is OK - not great. I took off a star for the manual and the remote.
