Clear view and accurate
Normally I've found that laser range finders will only do a fraction of the distance they advertise unless you're measuring the distance to a mirror. I have a mountain behind our house so I was able to do lots of different distances. The last repeatable distance I was able to get was just over 1800 yards and it was the distance to a pile of rocks. Very impressive.
