Taking long exposures with the ND and the polarizer saturates the colors overboard

I own quite a few K&F Concept Products. They provide quality products without the hefty price tag we're used to see in the photography world.Let's talk about the filters individually first. All 3 filters are of top quality, at least on this price point/tier, as we're used to get from K&F Concept products:-The CPL Filter has no color shifting and performs as expected.-Same with the ND1000, although i don't use 10-stop filters that often (my most used filter is a VND Nano from K&F Concept) during my test it worked well, no cross present, even while using step-up rings.-The UV Filter has no color shifting and the main purpose these days of the UV filter is to protect the lens surface, BUT, It is where this VERY MINOR issue this kit has: The magnetic ring holder. The magnetic ring holder works great with the ND and the CPL, just not as good with the UV Filter, but it is not by ANY MEANS bad or i'd call it unsecure, at least not on the 82mm filter size version, your mileage may vary depending on the kit size you got as the magnetic surface may be different for your version, just the grip doesn't feel as tight as it does with the other two filters and there is a TINY bit of play, but not enough to warrant losing a star over it, i mean if you shake the camera at full strength you may drop it, but on regular usage i do not see it just falling off the ring holder. As the sum of all parts i'd say this was almost perfect. This kit complements my VND ND2-400 and includes everything i need to cover all my filters along my step-up rings. The UV filter thing doesn't make it lose a star, but maybe half, so i'd say 4.5 but since there's no option for that if i had to decided between 4 or 5 stars, i'll go with 5.

I really like the convenience of this magnetic filter system. You only need to thread on the base ring and magnets do the rest. Makes it less likely to damage the threads of your lens if you don't have to keep putting on and removing a filter on every time you need to use it. I am using this with a 24-105mm full-frame lens and the base ring works with the lens cap and the hood although you probably need to remove the hood to snap on the filter because otherwise your fingers get in the way. Each of the filters themselves are quite a bit heavier than the screw on K&F versions, probably because they need to make the filter ring out of a magnetic steel instead of aluminum. Whatever the reason, they feel a lot more premium than the regular K&F version. In terms of performance, its a bit of a mixed bag. I don't have tremendous experience using CPL and ND filters (this is my first set) so I don't know what's considered good performance at a given price range. Lets start with the ND: It seems to be close to if not a full 10-stops which is great; the previous K&F screw-on 10-stop ND which I returned clocked in at only around 8-stops in practice. The ND does have a noticeable color cast (see: photos of the sea right out of camera). Bringing the raw files into Lightroom, the ND image had 26 more points of magenta tint and was 1000K warmer than the no-filter image. This cast was reasonably easy to correct although the colors weren't exactly the same. Less correctible was the vignette at 24mm which needs to be cropped out. At least on my lens, a quick crop test indicated at I was loosing about 1 mm of focal length to the vignette. Note that since the filter is magnetic, there is a small amount of float between the filter and the lens so the vignette may not always be symmetric or consistent from one use to the next.Moving on, the CPL filter (photos looking out the window) has similar vignette to the ND filter at 24mm but appears to cut down quite a bit of reflections in my windows. Not much for me to point our here, it seems to do the job.The set does come with a UV filter but I do not intend to use it unless I am in a rainy/dusty environment where my lens needs a bit more protection so I haven't tested it out yet.For both the ND and the CPL filter, I did not detect any noticeable decrease in sharpness caused by using the filters. However due to the color cast with the ND filter, I suggest either shooting in RAW or setting your white balance before putting the filter on.For the price ($110) I think the performance of these filters is acceptable. I am a little disappointed with the vignette but I have heard of much more expensive filters having similar issues so I don't want to be too hard on this set. All in all, for someone like me who does this for fun, I think its a great system to learn the basics until I can justify the move to something more premium. If you're a professional and make money off your photos, then maybe look at something more upmarket like Freewell or invest the time creating a preset to fix the color cast.

I have to say that I never used filters before - this is my first try.I like ND filter. I do not see discolouration or sharpnes loss in images.I am a little disapointed with polarizing filter - it removes very little reflections and I wonder if it depends on filter quality how many reflections CPL filter is able to cancel out?I do not see a difference between with or without UV filter - I won't be using it.I wish they had a set for 92mm lenses.

Quality is okay for the price. What is missing, however, is a magnetic lens cap from Canon that no longer fits. But I found a solution. Lens cap snap-on protective cover.

Just when you thought....who would reinvent the wheel? K&F has def done it! I have the swarm of traditional filters and always screwed them on and off, carried them with me etc. All the standard ways we are all use to. This caught my eye when I saw "magnetic" and though.....eh, seems odd.But im always up for and easier life when it comes to those little things so i gave these a shot. And now, I find if i had to screw on my filters, it would drive me nuts. This is a MUCH MUCH better mousetrap to the filter game! I find myself swapping filters more often, and using these more than i usually would. The magnets are strong and the filters are what youd expect from them. So far i am LOVING these. They clip on easy, you screw on the magnet ring, and then the filters clip to it. Your lens cap goes on the filter, so if you dont want the filter, i tend to take it with the lens cap and put it to the side until i need it.If you use or swap filters a lot, do yourself a favor and get these! Im about to order a few more sets for my other lenses.

I had been wanting to try a magnetic filter system for a while so I'm glad I got my hands on these. All the magnets work well and it's easy to screw on the adapter onto your lens. I personally only really use the ND filter, but the other 2 filters could stack on no problem and without any degrading in image quality or color.I was able to look closely at high resolution RAW files of photos I took using the ND filter and they looked extremely clean. The little carrying case is a nice touch as well. One suggestion is maybe adding a 6 stop ND filter to the set. There were a couple times where the 10 stop was just a little too much light blocking for me.I would definitely recommend this to most photographers as a great and easy all around filter system

►This is something that I never expected to see since I use DSLR and lenses.Honestly now, it makes a massive difference.I am not talking about the filters because you can find these any time, I am saying here about the system itself which I find to be absolutely brilliant! How easy is now? Very very easy and I explain why.I use filters for filming outside which sometimes can be challenging because of the light, the sun comes up from the clouds, manual settings, everyting over exposed which is very bad for video.►My lens diameter is 67mm so I got those. You have to screw the ring and then based on what you want to get you just have to attach the filters.........you DONT have to screw them one by one which saves you a lot of time. Now, the advantage? You avoid moving your camera is you want to change the filter!!! This is the most important feature I would say!!I keep my camera in one spot and 100% doesnt have to move AT ALL!! So with this magnetic system i just remove one filter and add another, easy as that. I dont have to screw anything!!!►What you get? A nice pouch, a filter ring(the magnetic one), 1 uv filter, 1 cpl and one ND1000. You already know what they do because you are all photographers so its easy.Build quality? Good, clean design, slim filters, nice pouch(has a ring so you can attach it to the bag, tripod and so on.►VERY IMPORTANT!!You cannot attach all 3 filters at the same time!!ONLY one by one so dont try to attach more because they might fall and you damage them. How strong is the magnet?Once attached to the lens even if you run with the camera in your hand you will not lose the filter so dont worry.►Easy to remove? I would recommend to use both hands to make sure you remove the filters properly. The most interesting filter for my type of work is the ND1000, makes a massive difference. I dont have to explain things like filming at f2.8 when it is bright outside + shutter at 60 for 30fps because you already know what I am talking about.Make sure you choose the right filter size, check and double check your lens size.►Overall experience?Impressive techology!!If this helped you in any way, please click on the helpful button below. I love using filters, I find the polarizing filter essential in forests or on the coast, also when there is harsh light, when there are low moving clouds and in rivers, waterfalls and the coast I love using the ND filter. In situations where I do not require the polarizing filter or the ND filter, I like to use the Ultraviolet filter to protect the lens. The truth is that sometimes it is cumbersome to use them, especially in adverse situations when, for example, it is cold and you are wearing gloves, there is a lot of wind. , you are very close to a waterfall and there is spray, etc, etc. It has also happened to me sometimes that I have left the filter on the lens for a while and then it was difficult for me to remove it, so I found it interesting to try the magnetic K&F filters, it seems to me to be a comfortable system with a good quality/quality ratio. price. In the package comes a case with the 3 filters (a polarizer, a 10-stop ND and UV) and a screw adapter, the case can be placed on the belt to always have the filters at hand. The use is quite easy, you simply have to place the thread adapter and place the filter on it, as it is magnetic it immediately catches it and from there it does not move, if I want to change the filter it is as simple as removing it and putting it on, you can see the video where I record the simple process. The good thing about this system is that both the adapter and the filters are thin and you can also place two filters at the same time, for example the polarizer and the ND to capture moving clouds with polarized light, avoiding unnecessary reflections. In short, it has made me I love the system of changing the filters so quickly, when I am traveling or in uncomfortable situations I will appreciate it.

Delighted with my 55mm magnetic filter kit. It is made up of 4 components, an adapter, a UV filter, a polarizing filter and an ND1000 filter. Both the polarizer and the UV have a thread, so they can be screwed on the front part of the lens, but they also have a magnetic part, so the rest of the filters can be placed magnetically on them. The combinations to use CPL and ND1000 can be :-Adapter+CPL, Adapter+ND1000 or Adapter + CPL + ND1000-UV + CPL Filter, UV + ND1000 Filter, UV+CPL+ND1000 Filter They come in a padded case with an inverted zipper to prevent some water from entering inside. case of rain. It can be clipped on your belt or anywhere else to use or carry comfortably. I have several types of filters, threaded, square and these. Without a doubt, the magnetic filters are my favorite filters, I am super happy with them because they are very comfortable to use, especially for that reason, for the convenience of use. It is very easy to insert and remove any of the filters. You leave the UV or the adapter in and it's instant to attach or remove any of the others. I always have the UV on, which also has a thread on the outside to be able to put the lid on, the thread is fine, but the lid remains fixed and does not fall off. This way, I always have the camera ready to put any of the other filters on quickly and easily. As for image quality, I have little complaint, I have not noticed any loss of sharpness or any color cast. I have been able to use both the UV+CPL+ND1000 up to 12mm on my APSC camera without vignetting. The filter I use the most is the ND1000 and it is very easy to use. Set the parameters that you consider for the photo and focus, change the camera to manual focus so that the focus remains fixed, place the ND1000. Now you will see everything dark and you will have to change the time. What time do I use? Very simple, take the time you have set and multiply it by 1000. A 1/125 photo without a filter should be taken at approximately 8 seconds to obtain a similar exposure. If what you are looking for are good quality filters, that do not negatively affect your image and that they are very comfortable to transport and use, I would definitely buy some magnetic ones. Carrying the square ones is sometimes a hassle and the threaded ones are much more uncomfortable for me, in addition to the risk of them falling, I am a bit big-handed and it has already happened to me several times with the threaded ones. With these at the moment no problem and very happy. I leave you a video and some photos that I hope will help you!
