Pros: The hard plastic case screws together creating a near impermeable seal. The inside of case has soft ridges to securely suspend the lens while in transit. The lens is very lightweight, most likely due to the aircraft grade aluminum which would make the lens feel like cheap quality but is actually smartly sturdy. The 3 stop filter hits the lower end of hobbyist level needs for longer exposures and softening landscapes. Any case that is round is preferred over the square or squarish for more comfortable carries in pockets.

Cons: The gradient is sharper and more defined, more contrast-y, than other filters. This works well for clearly defined landscapes with clearly visible couture lines. But for any opposing or parallel lines, there is a noticeable darkness where one may not wish for one.

Overall: This is a great filter to start out with landscape and learning how to use GNDFs. It's performance is at or slightly above expected at this price point.

I was looking for a filter that I could use to take pictures in higher contrast situations like sunset without blowing out the highlights in the sky and this did just the trick. The filter is made pretty well and it can be rotated in place so you can adjust where the ND part is on your image plane. Overall I'm very happy with the filter and look forward to shooting with it more.

I am a very amateur photographer who loves trying to take nature and landscape photography. This lens filter really added some nice depth to the sky, especially the clouds in my photographs without any editing! It provides nice contrast between the different cloud layers. It comes with a nice hard plastic case for protection and was super easy to screw into place. You need to look at the color gradient on the filter itself to make sure you don't end up with it in the wrong position (see picture 2!). In my 2nd picture you can see where I needed to rotate the filter 90 degrees. Easy fix though! The 3rd picture is with the filter, the 4th picture without. You can see how much richer the sky looks with the filter! Overall I am very happy with this filter and love using it on sunny days with clouds in the sky for some instant added depth and richness!

Because of a neurological issue, I use a bridge camera - a Sony RX10 IV. I love it, but was looking for a solution to blown-out areas and read that a neutral density, graduated filter would help. I was offered the "K&F Concept 72mm HD Soft GND8 Lens Filter, 3 Stop (0.9) Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter" and selected it as a trial. The lens seems to be a good quality, especially for the price. It did not distort images and final photos were sharp; it screwed onto my camera easily.

I often shoot landscapes and this filter makes all the difference in the overexposed part of a photo.
I attach sample image.
