After the early failure of two different branded trail cameras (from Amazon who immediately refunded me) I looked very carefully at reviews to try and find a camera that was not too expensive, with good night video and long battery life. I finally settled on this model from Crenova, which was not much more expensive than the other brands I had bought. The extra cost looks justified so far. The camera is of good quality construction. I found it easy to set up, thanks to a clear and comprehensive user manual and had it installed in the garden the day the it arrived. Even on the lower resolution default settings the daytime and nighttime videos are both very good. I can watch the video recordings via a 50 inch full 4K screen and the result is very acceptable. The highlight so far is the nighttime video of an owl flying straight at the camera and then sitting on the top, with its tail partially obscuring the picture. So far battery life is noticeably better than on my previous cameras and the manual says I can use rechargeables if necessary.I have only had the camera for a short time but so far I am delighted. If it continues to perform reliably at this level, I shall be very happy.

The Camera is so easy to use and the results are stunning. Picture and sound quality are excellent. Really enjoying it.

This is excellent value for money! We have been so thrilled with this product. We purchased it primarily for the children to find out what happened in the garden at night, but we didn’t realise we would use it as much as we do! The night vision picture quality is fantastic and as it has the ability to be attached to a tripod so it’s very easy to set up. We have had it out in freezing temperatures and the rain without any problems at all. It’s even been piddled on by a fox! It’s a great bit of kit! We love it!

Excellent for the money

Used it for filming wildlife in my garden.

I gave this 4 stars, but the service is excellent and deserves 5. I have had other Crenova trail cameras and all the videos have worked well on my Windows 10 PC, but this one didn't. It didn't play the last 5 secs of video, although it had still recorded. I thought it was an issue with the camera and complained. They suggested I downloaded a different media player, but as I had had previous cameras working well (and a newer version that my mum had worked fine) I thought the issue must be the camera. They immediately sent me a replacement camera, which although better, still did not plat play couple of seconds, but I could cope with that. They still suggested I download another media player. I found another free media player and the playback does work properly. I suggested I should return the other camera, but they said I could keep it, just write a review, which I have!Generally I think the camera itself is good. I use it a night to see the wildlife in my garden. It may be I haven't got the setting quite right yet, but it doesn't seem to pick up the animals around 7 meters away - you can see eyes glowing but that's it. That's why I gave it 4 stars and also I think it should mention an issue with Windows 10. Closer than that and the images are clear.For the price I think it's an excellent camera

This camera does everything I expected. Its easy to use, the picture quality is excellent and it picks up any motion very quickly. I especially like the option of have either a still shot or video or both being activated by the camera depending upon how you set it up. Battery life seems pretty good to me as I am only using it with 4 AA 's in the unit and it can take 8 . As well as having it set up in the garden for night time only I also have been using it during the day to check out my golf swing - didn't realise how bad it is so gives me something to work on during the lockdown !

Our garden has been getting dug up by animals at night, I bought this camera after reading previous reviews and after just one night I’ve identified that this is being caused by badgers.Camera is easy to set up and use would highly recommend it.

I set my camera up after making the various setting which was fairly simple to do. Absolute beginners may want to check out Tube to see what each setting does.Upon checking the results I found I had no sound and could hear the clock ticking only. The SD card was also faulty and difficult to extract. The lock slider was too loose.I contacted the company via Amazon and waited 48 hours fo a reply. They requested a video of the problem so another 48 hours.Fault was agreed as was a replacement camera which at present where out of stock. They asked for a shipping address. I refused and said I wanted the replacement via Amazon but they no longer stock it so I have sent it back and await a refund.

I am very pleased with this camera. Had some minor problems with initial set up but that was due to me rather than the camera. It has already captured a regular visiting fox.
