Magnetic Filter Attachment, quick and easy to attach or remove from the camera lens.
THe 1/4 Black Mist filter is fantastic and definitely one of my favorites. The Filter comes with 3 items

1) The Filter Ring that threads on to the lens end
2) The Magnetic filter
3) Magnetic Filter Lens Cap.

Common Question(s):
Can you use the canon lens cap with the Magnetic ring installed (YES)
Can you use the Canon lens cap with the magnetic Filter in place (YES)
Can you use the Lens Cap with the magnetic base without the filter magnetically attached (YES)

Overall, really good quality lens and it is a breeze to install. The Magnetism is strong and the lens cap does not fall off nor does the filter. It has just the right amount of magnetism to keep everything in place.
Very Good Lens and Concept for mounting it to the camera.

I have the K&F magnetic system on all of my lenses, and got several of the matching ND and CPL filters in addition to the black mist one here. They're so convenient, easily stackable and the connection is strong enough that I don't have to fear that one of them could fall off. The black mist effect here is very minor, and only really noticeable with plenty of backlighting. Many cheaper filters often have a color cast, but I haven't noticed that with the K&F ones at all.

The only downside is that on my Sony lenses at least the magnetic caps that are included are really hard to pull off when you have the lens hood on the lens (either forwards or backwards). Some grippy element at the front of the cap would've helped with that. I might 3d print some holder and glue that on there to fix it. Since the caps aren't really the main reason to use a magnetic filter system though I'm still giving 5 stars, they would've been a nice bonus if they worked well but they're not really critical to the product.

The lens is extremely well-made and the effects that this filter is capable of providing are superb. Excellent construction with precision threads, as well as magnetic instant on/off capability. The NANO multicoating is superb and produces NO artifacts, focus issues, or other issues.

Diffusion filters are used for a number of purposes, not the least of which is for softening skin contrast and creating a "dreamy" effect for portraits and general subjects where a softened contrast is desired.

This 67mm set is a widely used size by many lenses. For me, it is the right size for the majority of my Tamron Lenses, as well as the Sony 85mm f/1.8, SIgma 16mm f/1.4 APS-C, and my Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens. That makes this single filter set a superb value at the already great price on Amazon.

This particular filter model provides 1/4 diffusion that creates a softer, cinematic effect and is outstanding for use in both still photography and video as well. This K&F version uses a unique magnetic adapter that is screwed into the front of the lens and allows for a 1-second attachment of the Diffusion filter for easy use and removal. On/Off instantly.
That makes it incredibly easy to use a camera with or without filters and not have to screw them in or out repeatedly. Awesome innovation!

As a YouTube video-producing influencer and Vlogger, this filter has been fantastic for spur-of-the-moment shots and videos when I see a scene or shot that would greatly benefit from some softening...especially of people for live action or portraits when shooting outdoors in bright light or sun. Shadows are not affected and reflections are somewhat softened. Perfect!

I own a number of K&F filters of different types including UV, ND, Polarizers, and Diffusers. I have come to strongly trust the company's products without hesitation. This particular filter set is a superb value at the price as compared to much more expensive similar filters like those from B+W and Hoya, while providing virtually equivalent performance. Awesome!

For me, this filter is unequivocally a Strong FIVE STAR winner, and gets my honest and VERY hearty recommendation! SImply superb!

Happy shooting!

The “mist” diffusion filter does what it advertises. It’s a softer image with “blooming” highlights especially if backlit.
I double stack my filter with a prime lens effect dream filter for an extra dreamy look.
I totally recommend this.

I use a Fujifilm X-T3 camera and got this to go with my 55 - 200mm zoom lens. The mounting ring attaches to the lens without issue and I am a big fan of the magnetic attachment for this filter. There are many different brands of diffusion filters out there. I have used Tiffen brand filters in the past and always been happy with them but when I came across the K&F filters I definitely wanted to give them a try.

I have used K&F products in the past and have been particularly happy with their lens adapter system (I used to shoot with Pentax cameras and lenses and their superb lens adapter has allowed me to use my old Pentax lenses with my Fujifilm camera.

This magnetic system does not disappoint. Swapping filters is super easy with the magnetic attachment system. The lens cap for the filter system has been criticized by some but I find it to work very well. It actually reminds me of some of the lens caps from my Pentax system so I felt very comfortable with it.

As for the quality of the diffusion - excellent! I really enjoy the softer look that this diffusion supplies without it bein too heavy-handed.

I was a bit surprised by one thing however. I expected to be able to install this filter system and then still utilize my tulip-shaped lens hood but I cannot do that when this K&F is attached to my lens. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if this is really the fault of the Fujifilm system as I have found their lens hoods difficult to attach compared to other camera systems I have used in the past. That said, I intend to get some more K&F brand ND filters to take full advantage of this magnetic attachment system. It's a winner in my book.

I have only started buying K&F filters in the last 3 years, but there is absolutely nothing negative to say about them. I love the filters from K&F.

This type of specialty filter is a bit pricey so I usually buy the size that fits my largest lens. That jacks the price up even more, but I use adapters to enable using them on smaller lenses.

I don't mind paying for quality, but I am frugal none the less!

I really like the magnetic features of this set of black diffusion filter and lens cap because it makes it so easy to apply to your lens! It was my first time using a black diffusion filter and I have to say it creates such an interesting effect by diffusing the light and increasing the contrast, it really gives it a dreamlike appearance that I did not think would be possible.

As I said earlier as well, I really like the quality of the lens cap; it is made from a nice high quality durable metal and has a strong magnet which makes for easy application and removal.

I've always been of the opinion that photo filters and lenses are expensive, though I recognize that good glass and coatings aren't cheap. This filter, though...the results are magical. Golden and blue hour photos take on soft mystical qualities, fairy lights turn into will-o-wisps rather than bokeh, skin imperfections are evened out somewhat, and it does a better job than my old soft-focus filter which tended to lighten shadows too much. It's THE filter I reach for if I'm trying to create a fantasy atmosphere, and can make even a photo of a garden gnome look plausible.

I love the way this has the magnetic ring mount, though I'm sad that most of my other filters are screw-in and therefore can't swap easily with this. Perhaps someday I'll be able to get more; my filter stack was mostly built in the early 2000s and could use a few upgrades. This one's worth every penny of its list price for the results.

I have worked with K&F Concept filters in the past and generally had good experiences with them. They're good, mid-range quality filters at (usually) a budget price. I haven't worked with any black diffusion filters prior to this one so I have no basis against which to compare, but so far it seems to work as designed and seems to be made very well.

In a nutshell, this type of filter softens light a bit, causing some gentle halos around light sources, without impacting image sharpness or detail. Where I have seen the most noticeable impact is in images where there otherwise would be a lot of shadows and contrast; instead of stark contrast and strong shadows, the filter has the effect of brightening up the shadows somewhat and creating smoother color gradients. Sure, this can be done in software after the fact, but it is a lot easier to do this at the time the image is taken and it certainly is a lot less work.

The filter is very easy to install. This is my first magnetic filter and it is as easy to attach to my camera as I could have hoped. The threaded ring attaches to the lens in the same manner as a step ring or another filter, and the filter itself just snaps securely into place due to the magnetics. Removing the filter is just as simple, especially if you choose to leave the magnetic ring in place on the lens.

The assembly seems to be well made. I have had filters in the past that have been poorly constructed and rattle in the frames when shaken, or have been mildly blemished, or just felt cheap. This filter has none of those issues and appears to be well made.

This is a nice black diffusion filter. It's easy to install and use, and it just works. I will be using it more in the coming weeks.

It is a filter designed for videos and to give a "vintage" touch to the final result. In short: wonderful result also for photography. This is a useful filter for reportage or portrait or landscape narration. You don't lose sharpness and you get much less "pulled" light that also expands in the shadowed area. It is a filter to be used in photography with large apertures and which "tells" an atmosphere. Technical review: It has no dominant details, so it leaves the colors similar to the photo taken without filter. Great ! It doesn't make light, you don't need to increase the Iso when you mount it. Great ! The sharpness in the details (and here is the beauty) remains almost unchanged. You don't lose sharpness in focus areas although I wouldn't use it in ultrafine landscape photography but for a storybook, outdoors or portrait together absolutely you. Autofocus is not affected by the filter, at least not on the Nikon D750 with fixed lenses. Use/Effect: This is a filter that gives a glowing effect to photos, especially special for videos and hard-light or backlit portraits. The reflections are lowered but without becoming dull, moreover the light "penetrates" into the shadows, giving a very soft "glow" effect. Ideal for portraiture or to give a more dreamy atmosphere, eliminates image clarity in high contrast areas. In the photos you can see some comparisons without filter / with filter, two portrait photos together and what comes to you. Bottom Line: This is a filter you don't think you could fit into your kit, but when it comes in, it has such a distinctive result that you try it in any situation. Absolutely to try!
