An ND filter does great things for those of us who are dedicated to video. Among other things, it enables compliance with the 180 degree rule and the creation of time-lapse recordings of much higher quality. In addition to the obvious protection of the lens glass. Filters are very expensive and that is a bargain compared to them. Thanks to this ND, I can create time-lapse of moving people or cars with that blur effect on moving objects but not on the background, which gives the time-lapse that extra richness. I would recommend it if you start ND like me as you can of course stop at any ND stop for a lot more money, to be more precise and have less X-effect. But I don't see the need to spend that much money on an accessory of these and really with what reaching ND 32 is more than enough for what I need.
