62mm Variable ND2-ND32 (1-5 Stop) & Black Mist 1/4 Filter 2-in-1, 28 Multi-Layer Coatings - Nano-Xcelcel Series
SKU: KF01.1812
This is one amazing filter. So well made with quality through out. It's an awesome unboxing experience as well, they pack this thing so nicely. Even comes with a high quality leather storage case, very nice touch. I picked this up to use on my GoPro enclosure and it screws on perfectly and works perfectly.
My daughter is really into photography and she kept saying, "how do they do that?!". She opened and close it in amazement. We've caulked it up to magic. Seriously though, it does transition very well and it's very amazing how much of a range this filter has.
My one very slight negative, i wish it came with some kind of protective cap, to keep the filter from getting scratched. I'd be happy to pay extra for it, but I can't find there they sell just a cap for this or their other filters. A cap would make this absolutely perfect. Guess it's more a "wish".
Could not be happier, love it and gladly recommend!

I have a black Mist 1/4 and 1/8 diffusion filter, but I was intrigued by this combination ND and diffusion filter and wanted to give it a try. As a point of reference, a ProMist 1/4 will set you back more and a similar variable ND another less, so your getting a great deal for the price for both. But it's only a great deal if the quality is similar, and I'm happy to report that it is. I shot test footage using the ProMist and this K&F filters under the same lighting conditions with the same camera settings and then watched them back on a 4k monitor, and I couldn't see any discerbible difference in image quality. In using the variable ND, there was no telltale X pattern common to less expensive filters, and I really like the fact that the f-stops are marked on the edge of the filter ring (but they don't "click" into place like you'll find on more expensive filteres). SInce I'm frequently using a diffusion filter and a variable ND filter at the same time, to have them combined in a single filter is very convenient. I now have six K&F Filters, and I'm consistently happy with their quality. The price to value ratio for this combo filter is excellent.

Perfect for portraits in the outdoors. It softens imperfections and skin tones. No blotchy red patches, fewer wrinkles, etc.
I call my 85 mm my “magic” lens because it makes everyone look better when getting their picture taken. This adds another layer of “softness”. Not blur, softness.
I am still experimenting with various K&F filters but so far, I love everyone I have tried. They are making me a better photographer and bringing back the passion for photography that I thought I was losing.
I am thrilled with this filter and all of the filters from K&F that I have tried.
If you love photography, or just want to be a bit better at it, give the K&F filters a try.
Experiment. Let your imagination out to play.

Great having a variable ND filter and black mist filter 2 in 1. No colour cast visible. Recommend.

I bought an 82mm diameter for FE16-35f2.8GM.
As for the lens cap, I bought a one-size-up lens cap from K & F Concept's variable ND at the same time (about 600 yen).
K & F Concept and smallrig are the ones who embody the products that camera enthusiasts really want and are not able to reach the itch.
The four corners were clearly projected without being kicked in the ultra-wide-angle range of the full-frame filter-attachable lens (Oh, I'm video-only, so it's 16: 9).
I haven't taken a live-action film yet, but if there is some color cast or the mist is too strong, I will fix it with the camera settings and Da Vinci.
I regularly use black diffusion filters for painting, but the price is cheaper than buying two variable NDs and black mist.
I might buy another one for SEL1018 for APS-C, which is kicked at the wide-angle end by stacking two layers of variable ND and black mist, but before that, I will try it with a step-up ring.
