variable density ND filters are not the best when compared to fixed density but are very convenient to use and a compromise needs to be done, just like when using prime or a zoom lens. But just like the gap between zooms and prime has become narrower, the gap between variable ND filters and fixed ones has become smaller and I am very pleased with this filter. I always buy 82mm and then use filter step up rings for my smaller diameter lenses. Recommended.
Great Product!

It was a pleasant surprise that the diffusion retains so much sharpness. It creates very attractive, smoothed-out highlights without compromising detail elsewhere. The built-in variable ND filter is a nice convenience for video, and it has no defects that I've noticed
Delightful Delightful Delightful

I took a picture of the sun with this and was super impressed. The quality of it is awesome. The ease of use is fantastic.

This went right on my lens without issue, and it was so obvious how valuable this was right out of the gate. Now I can take pictures of super bright stuff and retain the data.

The picture I took of the sun looked like a perfect circle from far away, but up close? You could see the little wavy heat patterns around it. Just fantastic.

Perfect for portraits in the outdoors. It softens imperfections and skin tones. No blotchy red patches, fewer wrinkles, etc.
I call my 85 mm my “magic” lens because it makes everyone look better when getting their picture taken. This adds another layer of “softness”. Not blur, softness.
I am still experimenting with various K&F filters but so far, I love everyone I have tried. They are making me a better photographer and bringing back the passion for photography that I thought I was losing.
I am thrilled with this filter and all of the filters from K&F that I have tried.
If you love photography, or just want to be a bit better at it, give the K&F filters a try.
Experiment. Let your imagination out to play.

A solid variable ND filter. The filter is machined really well and the overall fit and finish is excellent. The orange anodized tab looks really good and adds a nice aesthetic in addition to aiding in adjustment. The dial is smooth enough to not unscrew from the lens but is firm enough to not drift once it is set in place. All of the shots I used the ND filter on confirmed the filter is good for between 1 and 5 stops and I never got any weird patterns with any of the settings. There is a slight color cast that leans toward blueish which is similar to every other ND filter I have ever used but it is easily fixed in post. Spring can be unpredictable and it can be a huge pain to swap filters between clouds a variable ND filter is convenient as well as cutting down on the number of pieces to bring shooting.

The pouch/holder is nicely made but bulky. A more compact hards case would be preferable but it is anice add-on at this price point. Sometimes I wish the filter had some kind of click or stop at the different stops but overall it's not a huge issue. It would be nice to preset the stop in this way, but not a deal breaker.

Overall the picture quality is good and the K&F ND filter is a solid buy at the price point. It has less color shift than other cheaper filters and work the investment.

Very happy with this filter lens! It comes very well packaged and even comes with a nice quality leather storage case. Very nice touch. It fits on my camera with no hassle and stays put, so I’m not worried about it falling off easily. The filter itself is great! The diffusion is really strong and works well! It allows you to shoot longer exposures at a slower shutter speed in really bright lightening that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to shoot. It has an adjustable 1 to 5 stop reductions. Because it’s a 1/4 effect filter it also gives a somewhat soft diffusion to photos that looks great on portraits!

This is a review of K&F Concept 62mm Black Diffusion 1/4 Effect & Variable ND2-ND32 ND Filter 2-in-1 for Camera Lens with 28 Multi-Layer Coatings (Nano-X Series)

I bought this to use with my Sony ZV-1 on which I have a Newer LS-18 Wide Angle/Macro conversion lens 0.75x. I was disappointed, but not surprised that there was very apparent vignetting at the corners of the photos. This is due to the wide angle lens. You can crop the photos in post production to eliminate the vignetting. Not ideal but that's what you have to do.

If you use this on a normal lens and aren't stacking additional filters, I'm quite sure you won't have an issue with vignetting.

The 62mm variable ND, 1/4 diffusion filter is great. The filter allows you to shoot longer exposures at slower shutter speeds in bright light conditions allowing you to get awesome shots that would otherwise be impossible to get without the filter. It adjusts to give you between 1 to 5 stops reduction. And since it's also a 1/4 effect diffusion filter, it gives a somewhat soft diffusion effect to the photo and is great to use for portraits.

This is very nice quality filter and priced less than other comparable filters.
