know some people aren't fans of putting glass on glass, but often when you rent a lens it will have a protective filter on it. I needed something to protect my 35 1.8s lens for Nikon. That allows me to do that. Image quality remains solid. I just wish the case where this came in wasn't so big.

With all my lenses, I use the K&F UV filter to protect against external influences, so the glass can be cleaned outdoors without hesitation (without high-quality cleaners/worries about scratches). If it does get scratched, I'd rather buy a new UV filter than a €2,000 lens. As already mentioned, I use the K&F UV filters for all my lenses because I am really very satisfied with the quality. very good, high quality product! Flawless glass without annoying reflections. Accurate thread. When it rains, the water rolls off nicely. The filter is therefore also suitable for outdoor use. Even with my 10mm wide-angle lens, no vignetting is noticeable. The filter was delivered dust-free in a nice protective cover. With Silm you simply have a smaller surface to attack, here you can simply help yourself by taking rubber/Tetra Band and increasing the friction to turn it up. If that doesn't work either, I put my lens out in the cold (if it's not cold/then in the fridge) material contracts and repeat the process, has always worked until now.

Very good quality. Fits exactly. Nothing sticks out. Lens hoods can also be used as before. I bought the filter to protect a lens. The filter works as described and does what it is made to do. Simply excellent.

A minimally bulky UV filter of very good quality and a stable storage box - I can only recommend it... Also not to be despised: A stable, round box for storing filters (including other filters that are not currently in use).

The filter is very well made, easy to screw in and does not significantly affect the image quality! The packaging, although oversized for a 49mm filter, is also very neat and of high quality. Unfortunately, the lens hood can no longer be put on because the filter edge is a touch too thick; this is the case with my Sony FE 28mm f2.0. It is therefore unusable for me and is being sent back with a heavy heart.

I put one of these on each of my lenses. This is the best quality filter I have ever bought - I am impressed with the clarity, the glass and the ease of screwing it in. Losing a star because the housing it comes in is TERRIBLE to reassemble and I actually ended up throwing it away and using a competitor filter housing.
