I was genuinely impressed by this tripod. After searching for a lite-weight, variable angle tripod and seeing so many cheap or extremely expensive options, I decided to pull the trigger on this and I've loved it ever since. It handled my 5D III w/ grip and 72-200L no problem both horizontally and vertically on the ball head. The entire thing collapses quickly and tightly. My only minor complaint is that the legs aren't very thick, so be aware of the footing when moving behind the camera. That said, I highly recommend this unit for any on-the-go or portable studio photographer.

Update. Had a small issue that was no disaster by any means. Not only is this a great tripod but I can’t say enough about this seller. Excellent is all I can say. Shipped replacement immediately. This seller definitely stands behind their products. I needed a cheap, light(ish) tripod for a sudden trip to the Scottish Highlands as there was a fair amount of walking involved and this seemed to fit the bill nicely.
The head is smooth to pan, easy to adjust and locks tightly with no issues. The plate mount is arca-Swiss compatible so had no issues swapping plates on all my gear which was a bonus.
The legs are quick to deploy and lock up very securely. They’re relatively sturdy for the small cross section.

Great tripod. I was previously using a cheap Walmart tripod which was doing my harm than good to my photographs. I grabbed this one during activity for a brilliant price. Even at regular price, this is a good deal.
It’s solid, made of quality materials. It has a satisfying weight to it. It’s not too heavy, but it’s got a little weight to make you feel like it’s sturdy, which you want when you’re relying on this thing to support your expensive camera!
It definitely has a premium look and feel. My next tripod will definitely be another K&F, but I feel like I will have this one for years to come.

An excellent tripod, very functional and stable, it has served me a lot, its multiple positions allow excellent handling, and its posture is like it is anchored to the ground and sticks. VERY SATISFIED.

This is my 2nd tripod. I havent been able to justify spending money on one of the more spendy setups. This one feels sturdy but the stops on the legs for the angles feel cheap and so does the shaft the connects to the base of the camera and to the legs, it will actually come apart if you are not careful.

The four section tripod can be folded to a compact shape and it is light weight. It comes with an excellent carrying bag. The flip lock are easy to operate and the tripod can be set up very quickly.The are no screws to compensate for the wear in the lock mechanism. Eventually it will get loose and will not hold the load securely. The question is how soon?Another missing feature is that there isn't any kind of screw or device to stop the tripod head from rotating while panning. If not tightened properly, the head will become loose.It feels like it is painted rather than anodized. If painted, it will get scratched easily. My concerns aside, it it a good tripod and will serve well as long as it lasts.
