K&F Concept Endoscope Borescope Camera - 4.3 Inch 1080P, 5m/16.4ft Semi Rigid Cable, LED, Orange for Auto, Engine, Drain Inspection
SKU: GW45.0021
The K&F Concept endoscope camera can be flexibly rotated through a 180-degree angle and can thus take live recordings from otherwise completely inaccessible places. Water resistance is at the top of the list of requirements. With IP67, the 4.3-inch camera also masters water resistance with flying colors. The 8 LED lights ensure that the waterproof pipe camera (IP67) provides a well-lit video image. The price of just under 300 euros (as of October 4, 2022: 299.99 euros) is certainly steep at first glance, but as soon as you have used the endoscope camera from K&F Concept, you save so much valuable time that the purchase quickly pays off. For example, anyone who has a small business and regularly has to carry out repairs on equipment that is very difficult to access will really enjoy this endoscope camera from K&F Concept.

Great value- great device. But would like bigger better instructions including how to replay images.

I have a couple of K&F Concept video inspection cameras and have not been disappointed with any of them. This one is no exception. A highly versatile scope, this standalone device offers excellent image quality in an easy-to-use package. Can be used for all types of inspections. This can be one of those things you didn't know you needed until you had one. From wall cavities, automotive work, gunsmithing — you name it. You will love having one of these on hand.

The K&F Concept endoscope camera comes with a robust storage case. Instructions and a USB cable for charging are also included. The workmanship is flawless and makes a very high-quality impression. The lens head can be rotated so that you can also look to all sides in niches and gaps. The strong LED lighting allows a good picture even in the darkest areas. Everything is shown beautifully sharp on the TFT display. Optionally, you can also connect to the smartphone app to save and view videos and images directly there. The app is intuitively easy to use. The device itself is operated using the 6 buttons on the display and two buttons next to the rotary wheel for the movable tip. The display can be folded if necessary, so that you have a better picture outside with the sun. The temperature is also shown on the display. However, this increases by using the light function. I am very satisfied with the endoscope and can give it a full 5 stars for convincing quality and a good image.

The camera set comes with instructions for use in German, which will definitely help the user, even if the device is basically very easy and intuitive to use. The individual buttons on the control unit work perfectly and pleasantly. With a battery life of around four hours, you can investigate a problem quite extensively. The three lenses at the tip of the guide wire deliver a pin-sharp image on the device's own screen; at least for objects at a distance of about 2 cm to about 10 cm. In this respect, the camera is primarily intended for examinations of narrow corridors and not, for example, of sewage pipes in the ground, since the camera would have to capture and display a larger field of view for these cases. However, the set is not designed for the latter. And it displays the area that the device is supposed to capture and examine perfectly. The dimmable and good illumination of the middle lens is also very helpful and also supports a clean display. With the additional lighting on the housing of the screen, you can also work well in dark surroundings, i.e. you can find the entrance to a tube into which the hose of the endoscope is to be inserted without any additional tools. The hose itself is quite rigid, which is probably necessary to move it forward at all. However, successful handling here requires some patience and practice; but then you get along well with the camera. When handling the endoscope tube, it is very helpful if a second person holds the screen or you clamp it (carefully) in some way, otherwise it wobbles around and you cannot observe anything on it. With a length of 5 meters, the camera hose certainly enables most household examinations without reaching your limits so quickly. A hook (included) or a magnet (also available) can be attached to the tip of the probe, with which you can also use the camera to fish objects out of pipes or similar. In addition, the camera, including the hose, is actually waterproof. All around good and definitely deserves 5 stars!

I was quite surprised at the image quality of this device at optimum focal distances, which is aided by a big screen (compared to most others).
I did look at the traditional design offerings (the ‘pistol grip’ type) as a couple of friends have them, but the resolution, illumination and a screen about a third of the size of this unit’s screen didn’t leave me particularly impressed.
There’s little point in describing the unit and it’s functions are these are adequately (and accurately) described in the sellers information.
In use, this does need some practice in terms of ‘wiggling and turning’ the probe, both to get it to where you want it, and to interpret what you are seeing which may at that point be ‘rotated’ from the ‘horizontal’ you have in your head. Once mastered, it can return an astonishingly detailed picture at optimal focal length (I’d say about 2 - 4 cm). Outside of that distance (as a pre-focused camera, it will actually see as far as you want it to), the image is less crisp, but still good.
I bought this to try to track down the cause of water leaking into the boot of my car which was leaving wet carpets. I was able to feed the probe up a box section in the boot area while leaving a hose running down the car’s roof. I was able to see where the water was coming in (very satisfying), which saved me any amount of stripping -out and trim removal. It was worth its price for this alone, although I couldn’t help reflecting on many, previous situations in house and car where I wish I’d had this at my disposal. Similarly, I’m anticipating this being very useful for similar situations in the future, especially as I’m not as young as I once was and tight ‘contortionist’ spots are getting more difficult as time goes by.
The last thing to comment about is the price. Some of the ‘professional’ units like this can cost three/four/five (or more) times the cost of this one. They might be more rugged for industrial use, but for DIY use this is perfectly OK.
All-in-all I’m very pleased (and impressed) with this device.

The quality is really good, processing and no sharp edges or the like. The screen is big enough for the necessary work to see the examined objects well. I think it's good that a battery is installed, so you don't necessarily need a laptop as a screen, which makes it very mobile in the suitcase. The supplied cable is a little too long, because the manufacturer really meant well. 2 to 2.5 meters thick would have been enough. The LEDs provide enough light for both cameras and if they are outshone, they can be conveniently dimmed. The picture quality is ok, you can see pretty much everything. I don't think it should be a 1080 resolution, but a little less. In general it was worth the money for me and has already found quite a few problems or objects. Except for the slightly too long cable, this system can really be recommended. LG Frank
