The light quality is very good. I'm tempted to get a second one to light my desk from both sides when I'm not using it for other purposes. The accessories, not so great. The honeycomb, barndoors and stem leak light sideways where their magnetic attachment is. If you don't want side leakage, you'll have to skip the fasteners. The magnetic force attachment is weak and can only be used if the wire is rolled around the stand a few times.

This is a nice light for the price made even better by the included body and accessories. For my use and what I believe it is best used for, I think it will work great to have. Keep in mind that this is a small light and is not intended to light up a room with more than 4 people in the scene. It can help in low light, but that's not what it's designed for. I'll light a few people in a scene well, but it's best used for fill light, accent light, or to illuminate small objects. It also works well for macro shots. The magnetic attachments are nice, but as others have mentioned, they're not that strong. Speaking of magnets, apparently the back of the device is magnetic for easy attachment to things, but it's so weak it's useless.

It's a nice upgrade from the original L1. It's bright enough for a good fill light and is also good for macro photography. Good daylight balance and colors are well reproduced. Overall it's excellent for the price.

Decently bright with multiple levels. Doesn't replace a flash but gives me versatile fill lighting. Most accessories are good, others relatively useless ie. the honeycomb filter. But nice overall package. I found it helpful for some macro shots and close-up lighting, on-camera mounted or off.

I bought this for a full light cold shoe and it's really great for that purpose...stills and videos alike. I even bought one for my niece who does stop action miniature work. The accessory is really well built and the light is bright enough to distinguish shadows up to 10 feet away.

I've used this little light twice since buying it just this week and besides its size for photographing smaller items, the accessories that come with it are fantastic. The barn doors and snout are super useful for containing and controlling the light. All in all a great kit and package with little lighting.
