The only test I have available to me to evaluate a polarizer is to use the polarized light from a current generation LCD monitor along with some non-polarized light to see what the filter eliminates.

The setup behind the two images that are part of this review is simple. I put a DSLR on a tripod in front of a set that included mostly polarized light from a monitor as well as a bit of non-polarized light from an accent light set to the side. I kept the ISO, aperture and shutter speed constant.

In one image, I had the K&F circular polarizer set to the minimum and the other snap is set to the maximum. I also included a histogram from both images to the right of where the computer monitor is in both images. The filter did a good job of filtering out the majority of the light from the monitor indicating it does a filtering polarized light.

While my test setup isn’t a laboratory and I expect a real lab such as DxO would smile at my test, it’s valid in the sense that I’ve had both good and bad results using it. I also used this setup to test the UV filter included in this kit and could see no change. I didn’t post images because if there are any small differences they wouldn’t be visible in a JPEG posted to the Web.

I rate both these filters highly. I could detect no color cast from either of them.

It's a nice filter, just like the other models I have from them. I needed another polarizer for my Sony E-Mount 55-210mm lens and seeing that K&F Concepts released another filter set I decided to give them a try. I was curious to see if I can tell a difference between some of their other polarizers. After some testing, I really can't tell a difference.

I took some shots of my neighbor's old Chevy pickup sitting at just the edge of my lens capabilities with the sun glaring down on the truck at the wrong angle. The filter did a good job and with some minor tweaking in the post edit, I was able to have a decent image.

I haven't had a chance to go out and do some shooting with this lens filter set but so far the at-home test has me impressed. The only issue I have is the lens filter ring is too thin. I can't get a grip on it to remove the filter. All I can grab is the circular part. I have to buy another lens filter wrench to remove it. But this seems to be a trend with this brand.

It gets 5 stars because it works and with the lens wrench I will have no issues removing the filter when I need to.

Quick delivery, sooner than projected. Clarity on the lens was excellent. Will purchase more.

This is actually two filters, a UV and a circular polarizing one. You can use them separately or stacked one on top of the other. These are well made filters, the ring is very small so they won't cause any vignetting even when stacking both filters on fairly wide angle lenses. These threaded onto my lens smoothly and stayed on securely. They only reduce the a little, and once they are screwed on there is an outer ring that lets you rotate the polarizer to get the best effect.

The UV filter helps reduce atmospheric haze and makes the air look clearer. A lot of people also leave a UV filter on to protect the front element of their lens from dust and splashes. The Circular Polarizer will help reduce reflections from things like water, glasses and windows. Because it reduces reflections, you can see down into water making it look clearer and cleaner. It also helps deliver a clearer sky image when taking photos outside.

This is the "K" series filter, they also have a "D" series. I'm not sure the exact difference between the two as K&F's own website doesn't really explain it. As near as I can tell the "K" series ones (this one) are slightly cheaper with less layers layers of coating, the K series doesn't seem to have a water/oil repellant coating.

In any case, well made filters that do the job.

I got this to use on my Panasonic 45-150 lens, which is the lens I use the most outdoors.

I misunderstood when I ordered this that the UV lens is also half the polarizer, but it works well. The UV filter fits the lens easily and smoothly, the polarizer attachment filter fits well, and works well at an angle from reflective surfaces.

The pics I shot using these with my Panasonic GX85 came out well with no optical aberrations. There are better quality filters out there, but they cost a lot more - this set is the perfect combination of price, quality and optical quality. I'm very happy with it.

I am familiar with KF Concept from both their filters and their lens adapters. Tjey have a host of other photographic products. Because I am familiar with those, I was comfortable ordering this product. When I ordered it, I thought it was *just* the circular polarizer. I was surprised and pleased to discover it was a combination. For me, 62mm makes the polarizer useful on several lenses. The multicoated UV filter was a bonus. The combo comes securely protected. In use, the polarizer reduces glare from surfaces and deepens the blue in skies. This is what one expects, yes? The beauty is that the multicoating essentially eliminates any glare from the filters themselves. That coating also makes them easy to clean and keep clean. They are made with optical glass, so I'm confident in their durability. The knurls on the filter rings make them slightly bigger than the lens barrel they're installed on. I have had issues with this on some vintage lenses, but not on the modern AF lenses I got these for. Overall, I recommend this combination both for function and for excellent value.

Very nice standard filter set containing a UV filter (clear) and a CPL filter.

These are fairly slim filters which are less likely to result in problems like vignetting around the edges. Very well made, with machined aluminum construction on both of the filters.

The CPL filter is a little darker than what I'm used to, making it better suited for outdoor, daylight shooting as opposed to indoor conditions.

The UV filter is the best I've used, crystal clear, without any blueing or other artifacts - perfectly, 100% clear. I keep the UV lens on my camera's lens at all times for the protection since its so clear. Works well with stacking additional filters.

Threads all work nicely, and the CPL provides fluid rotational adjustment.

Great deal for this set of starter filters.

I have read bad reviews on people getting the filter stuck or it unscrewing during use. If you turn it gently in the correct direction using the ring, you won't have any problems I'd say. For me these work really well on the Sigma lens

K&F always makes great products at a good price point. I would definitely recommend them to a friend

I wanted to play and try... I know the principle of a polarization filter, but I didn't have one yet. Since I have a new camera and lenses, this was the opportunity now.. from various tests, this was found to be acceptable. It works great and an impairment of the image quality was not noticeable to me. Price performance is great. Would I buy again
