I have used other variable ND filters in the past and whilst I didn't ever come across any real issues with them, I did brake my last one when dropping it in a car park!! So I bought this one having already been very impressed with the K&F square filter kit, I thought I would try them again and they haven't disappointed. I mostly use the VND filter when filming (the square kit is not ideal for filming) and in the summer it's a must-have piece of kit. The case that comes with the filter is really handy for chucking in a bag and I know it will be protected. the twisting rings are nice and chunky so its really easy to change the strength which is hand when filming.
The image quality is great with no noticeable colour casting and you don't get the wired X that you can sometimes get with the cheaper VNDs.
With a VND at this quality and price point, I really see no need to invest £300 in one.
My only very slight gripe is that I cant use my lens hood with it and the lens cap doesn't fit as snuggly as it does on the lens, meaning I cant just leave it on.

Fantastic filter with no obvious colour shifts in my resulting photos. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a no nonsense variable ND filter.

in pI’m always dubious when it comes to filters as I have seen some cheap ones in that past that really degrade image quality. This neutral density film seems really good though.

It seems well made and screws on nicely on my canon EF-M lenses. The twisting adjuster works easily and smoothy and has the various stops marked on it.

Performance is really good too. There doesn’t seem to be a vignette or any other visible marks or patches on photos. The photos seem to be just as sharp and have the same quality as when shooting without the filter. I can’t tell any difference. It comes in a nice holder although this is way bigger then the filter itself.

The range of stops on the filter is good too and helps to slow things down for some major motion blur. It also works well for open aperture video. For the price I am really impressed with the quality and results.ast i got k&f ND filters and i wasn’t happy about them because the had horrible purple colour cast what i couldn’t get ride with photoshop, they were cheap. about £10 for 3 different ND filters with pouch. yeah... price does matter))) lol)) this one is NOTHING close to those what i use to have. it feels like i had ford ka and now i have ford mustang)))

it’s really easy to change from ND2 to ND32 don’t need to unscrew your ND filter from lens, just spin the circle.
there is NO COLOUR CAST. what is most important thing in ND filter. i would say i bought Nisi quality ND filter for twice less than Nisi.
comes in hard storage case not pouch. so when you throw your ND filter in your camera bag , you don’t have to worry about that it will smash. i would definitely buy it again.

Este filtro lo uso con un lente 56mm f1.4 para fotografía de retrato, sesiones, etc. Y funciona perfectamente, no pierde calidad en las imágenes. Así puedo tomar fotos aunque haya mucha iluminación sin pasar de 1/250s

Really happy and will buy more.

I ordered this filter for my Canon 800d and it works like a charm. The packaging it came in gives you an idea of ​​the product's first-class design. Since this is a variable Nd filter, I can leave it on my lens as the filter does not have to be removed to get more light. I had high expectations for this filter while ordering, and the results are better than my expectations. The filter ring is very smooth and does not jerk when recording video. I use the anamorphic lens from Moment and FilmicPro to make movies with my iPhone. The K&F 62mm filter is very important to get that cinematic look when shooting at 24 fps. I tried cheaper ND filters, but they had vignetting and poor image quality. With the K&F filter, the clarity is excellent and the build quality is strong and durable. The included case securely holds the filter. This ND filter is great value for money and much better than other inferior ND filters I've tried. I have included photos with the same camera settings without any filters, with a cheap filter and with the K&F filter. I've also included a photo of the setup I'm using. This filter goes perfectly with the 62 mm filter holder of the moment. This is a game-changer for anamorphic video, especially when shooting outdoors. I couldn't be happier with the K&F ND filter. This is superb quality and value! I totally recommend it!

Bought this for a recent trip to Rome. Never got off the lens. good build quality and performance. worked silky soft, love it!

I use the filter both for filming with DSLR and for long-term exposure during the day with an open aperture, especially when filming, it is simply beautiful with an open aperture. The ring can be easily turned. The sound should be recorded externally, because the ring clicks quietly in the intended positions .. The packaging is great for transport and can withstand the attacks of my 1 year old daughter. The image quality looks good. At least I could not see any tint or other disturbances. I am very happy with the ND filter.
