Bought this cos I have some old fd lenses and a new 80d camera I would like to say at this time it feels a quality bit of kit. Now I have had some issues with it regarding a flare in the centre of the image, it looks the same as the dampness you get on the inner elements with big temp changes That circular mist. But it is a flare and I can work with it, the old lenses have full focal function to infinity and the manual side is great to play with :) how many pics can you fit on 32 gigs. I was on the verge of sending it back so glad I gave it a second chance. Hope my comments are useful.

The product is of excellent quality. It did fit p[erfectly on my new Canon 5D mark lll and my old original Canon Japan lens 100 - 300mm I actually have tested the new adapter I used a tripod and the result is amazing ! Soooo Happy

I now have three different K&F Concept lens adapters and am delighted with the quality and functionality of all of them. This particular adapter I wanted to use on 4 Canon FD prime lenses I had picked up, 28mm, 50mm, 135mm and 200mm, to use on my Canon 7D and 50D, it works brilliantly on both. Obviously you set your aperture on the lens plus focus manually but all great fun and whilst a lot slower than using a modern lens with electrical contact between the body and the lens, the results from 'vintage' lenses can be quite stunning. Although obviously different but a similar adapter, I also have a K&F adapter that allows me to use the same FD lenses on my Lumix G80 4-3 mirrorless camera, that works brilliantly too !

3 Stars because the adapter itself is good quality. And works. It fit's my Canon EOS Rebel t5i (700D)But if you think to become a cheap f1.4 / f1.8 / f2.8 forget it. Only gets sharp enough with F8. The reason is not the adapter."The reason corrective optics were needed at all is that on top of the actual EF mount being physically different, the lens registration distance was increased from 42mm in FD to 44mm in the new EF mount. This means that even when held up directly lens flange to camera flange, the FD lens would render the proper image 2mm short of the film /sensor plane. You would have to mount the lens inside the camera to have it work properly..."[...]In my case, i took a f1.4 for star photography. But the infinity focus is not given until F8.

Ordered the wrong adapter originally but the reseller told me which one was the correct one i needed and I had no problems returning it. Its a good quality unit but a bit on the high side price wise ( thus the 4 star rating). If you have some old Canon FD Japanese made lenses and wish to use them with your Canon Rebel camera get this unit, it works well. Just make sure you get the right one as there are a ton of different ones available for different makes and lenses. The reseller was helpful and will probably point you in the right direction if needed.
