58mm Variable ND Filter True Color ND2-ND32 with 28 Layers of Anti-reflection Green Film Waterproof, Anti-scratch Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2156
I got this for my Lumix FZ80 and am very happy with it. I like that you can adjust it from 1-5 stops. It feels very sturdy and well made.

When it comes to photography, I'm more of a layman. The filters from K&F Concept have always been praised and recommended by various well-known photographers. I was able to test this filter here. Top workmanship. Top quality. Turning is slow, but that's okay for me. Better that way than it slipping all by itself. The price is of course not low but you get a lot in return. I think the optical performance is great. All in all 5 stars.

I've been using K&F products for my photos for some time now. I particularly like all the filters. This ND filter is also well made and does exactly what it should. It was easy to attach to my Canon RF 24-70 2.8. The 2-32 range is particularly suitable for everyday use. Even if the filter isn't on the lens, I can easily carry it around with me thanks to the high-quality bag.
In my opinion, this is a very well thought-out, high-quality product. The filter is worth the money. That's why I like to give 5 stars and recommend buying.

I had been using a cheap variable ND filter for years and when I recently upgraded to this the difference was immediately obvious. This ND filter does an excellent job not making dark spots around the edges of your video. I am using this on my Canon M50.

There are filters with infinitely variable adjustment options. They're good, no question about it. But if you want to reproduce very specific - exact - settings, an ND filter with latches is better suited. Because if you've made a recording with a specific ND set, you can make all kinds of other settings, but when you need it, you can easily have the same desired setting. Exactly the same one! I can therefore recommend the filter - regardless of whether you are a professional or an interested amateur.

I love these variable ND filters. Although they have clear optical disadvantages compared to fixed ND filters, the advantage lies in their literal variability.
With “fixed” ND filters, you always have to bring a whole set of filters with you.
That costs space, weight and is, of course, more expensive. Switching or making the right selection on site is also complex.
With a variable filter, you don't have these problems. Simply screw on one filter, turn it until you have the desired darkening, and you're done.
You have to buy this advantage with slight losses in imaging performance.
Since such filters in principle “only” move two polarizing filters in opposite directions, there are slight inaccuracies in the evenness of the darkening.
However, this can be corrected relatively easily in post-processing.
Otherwise, there are no weaknesses, not in any case that I could identify them - as a layman.
For me, the benefits and ease of use clearly outweigh this.
Thanks to the “handle”, it is actually very easy to use. The resistance is also right, so that the desired value is not so easy to adjust by itself.
Everything is fine here, even the price is right when you look at comparable products.
I give it five stars!

This is definitely a step up improvement in filters for me, and I love what this filter can do. It only has 5 stops, but seems to handle most anything I need to photograph on my outings. A trusted brand that doesn’t disappoint. The lens and housing is gorgeous and this comes with a first rate leather magnetic case. Five stars!

Use the 72mm version on a Sigma SD 14, fits perfectly and saves me many different darkening filters. A really great thing, I didn't even know that something like that existed. I used to have 4 different neutral density filters, which I could now put all of them out of my pocket. Sounds like a lot of money at first, but I only calculate the expenses of my 4 filters against it... oh oh I would have been much better off here. Now I can! infinitely variable! adapt to all lighting conditions, a dream come true.

In order to be able to capture colors more realistically and in more detail, you have to increase the shutter speed a bit without overexposing the images.
With the K&F Concept ND filter, the brightness can be reduced very easily and in a very short time.
The 58 mm version is ideal for screwing onto Canon lenses. It is a pity, however, that the cap for the lens no longer really fits.
At the slightest darkening, the adjustment lever is at the bottom right and is pushed upwards, at the highest darkening, it points right up, which is very easy for me as a right-handed person to use.
I think the results speak for themselves. I'm still a long way from being a professional, but it allows you to capture and capture really intense colors. For almost beginners like me, who likes to try out everything possible, the filter is great to use and absolutely great for sunsets here on the Baltic Sea beach (but of course also where there is no beach).
The included case for the filter rounds off the package really nicely. It is therefore well protected whenever it is not mounted on the lens and with the pull strap, it is also elegant and easy to unpack from the case. The leather case has a hidden magnetic closure, so the filter will definitely not fall out of the case unintentionally.
Overall, a great filter that, with its results, makes you want to move on to the next, stronger levels.

Delivery was very fast. The filter is well made. Instantly screwed on the optics and tried it out. Make its darkening without an X image, as a stroke from min to max. Color image is almost without color cast and is very close to that if it were without a filter. TOP. The only thing you can complain about (it's probably heavy from various optics and their threads) is that the control lever does not point upwards when screwed on. It also works without the lever. The autom. Focus, as with my Sony AX100 camera, can sometimes be lost when set to dark.
Still, I highly recommend K&F, even though it costs more than most. Cheap filters can't keep up with that at all.
