The real shame for those who do casual landscapes and have a canon is not having it. The MAF ring counts very little, a bit stale, it's super wide... you just have to turn it on infinity and turn it off 14mm, they return a beast's point of view and the MAF is very simple. Excellent image quality at all apertures, but check your copy because the K&F Concept isn't first in its class when it comes to quality control. I don't give 5 stars because it took very little time to enter the contacts to pass the exif to the camera.

The optical line of the lens is fine. It's also conveniently small and light. Manual focusing is no problem with the short focal length and high depth of field. Unfortunately, the aperture is set with a ring on the lens (quite classic). As a result, there is no data exchange with the camera and no automatic shutter control can be used. The aperture is also not shown on the camera display and the function of the modes "P" and aperture priority are identical. If you really value it, you should look for another lens. But overall good value for money.

I've been using this lens for 2 years and although it doesn't have auto focus it has become one of my favorite lenses.

Best non-Canon lens for this price. I used it for night shots and also for capturing northern lights. It's my favorite lens. The build quality is also great. It's manual focus, but you get used to it after using it for a long time. I've been using it for 3 years and there are no problems with it.

I rarely write reviews here, but with this lens I just have to do it...... Used on a 5D Mark II I've read before that it's super sharp......I was skeptical at first.. ..... Then unpacked the same evening and took a test night shot...Pure enthusiasm! At the weekend I took party photos with it at a wedding and also filmed it... If you are looking for a super wide angle for the full format and don't want to spend 1600-1800 euros, be prepared to set the focus manually, which was also no problem at the wedding and neither for the night shot....buy it! The processing is also top!

I bought this for my Lumix G9. I use Nights Ape Images and this lens is great for that. Set to infinity and anything over a foot away is in focus. One of my most used lenses and great value for money.

had read the recessions over and over again. Should I or not? I wanted to get a WW for my D610 that would meet the requirements for landscape and Milky Way photography. Admittedly, I was skeptical. But I was not disappointed! There is nothing to complain about in terms of sharpness and contrast, both in sunlight and in astrophotography. Ok, with an open aperture and 100% magnification, a slight drop in sharpness was to be expected compared to my Nikkor 24-120. But especially with landscape shots, stopped down to 5.6, full sharpness is already achieved over the entire range. The only downside is that the lens hood is fixed. Unfortunately, no screw filters or flat filters from the normal range can be used. That would of course be ideal for landscape shots. There are special solutions for this lens, but they are relatively expensive.
