Great lens at a low price. Sensitive to light and beautiful in sharpness. Maybe not quite as good as the Canon lens, but not bad to start with. I've even read in tests that the specialists were totally amazed at the quality. I think it's often a matter of opinion, especially in photography. ;-) Attached are 2 sample images. I would be happy about a like.
Perfect in cooperation with my Canon 200D

First of all: As a hobby photographer, I use the Canon clone with a Commlite AF adapter on my Sony A7II: + Haptics: small, light (117g), short + Processing: ugly, all plastic + Performance: Rapid AF and AF-C (although adapted !) + Optical performance: With an open aperture max. 1.8 nice sharpness, bokeh very creamy (I like that, it's always a matter of taste). Also sharp when stopped down to F/5.7 in the landscape shot. Minimal edge drop, only CAS (chromatic aberrations) were recognizable (see photo transition sky - mountain). Attached are sample images (Jpeg out-of-cam), I quickly cropped the balcony shot to check. So, and now butter on the fish: I paid a ridiculous 100€ for the lens and got a really great optic for it. I analyzed the images in the LR and with my other lenses from Zeiss et al. compared. Conclusion: I can warmly recommend the longest focal length, which doesn't need to hide, to everyone! Especially those who place little value on "Zeiss ect. Prestige", but are simply looking for a very light, small and good 50mm fixed focal length. I just ordered the lens out of curiosity, but it will still have a permanent place next to my camera.
Yongnuo 50mm F/1.8 AF/MF on Sony Alpha 7II - no prestige, but great performance

I'm not a professional photographer, I only use it privately and I'm thrilled. For my purposes primarily in the house it is a wonderful lens, at this price such a fast lens is great. The only small drawback is the volume of the drive when you use it with autofocus.

am very surprised by Yongnuo's prime lens. It is in no way inferior to the original. You know that you can only have a low sharpness with an open aperture. The auto focus works well. The volume doesn't bother me in the least. I'm not the filmmaker though. My priority is photography. The manual focus is very smooth. I really like the bokeh

First of all, I bought a Canon EOS 60D with a kit lens EF-S 17-85mm 7 years ago for a holiday trip and since then I have only taken pictures occasionally. Now, however, I would like to use the camera more and bought a manual with professional tips that also dealt with the topic of fixed focal lengths. In short, I found the topic interesting - so I quickly searched Amazon and bought the Yongnuo 50mm used as "very good". I'm positively surprised, the lens is light, bright, the autofocus does what it's supposed to and relatively quickly. Now that I've taken some portrait and architectural shots, for which this lens is really predestined, I've now tried my hand at macro shots with this lens

At first I was skeptical when I looked at this fixed focal length. I found out about it thanks to YouTube. I got the lens for my somewhat outdated EOS 400d and am very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. For the price an absolute buy recommendation!

Fast delivery, the lens works very well. However, the processing does not seem to be good, the lens body wobbles a bit in the recording, but no impairment of the function can be seen so far. AF works very well and quickly, not quietly but that doesn't bother me. For the price a super part...! ;)

I unpacked the lens and you can tell a very big difference, it's mostly all plastic, once the AF is set and set you can hear it loud as it focuses the image. I've been trying for a couple of hours and I don't really like the autofocus as it doesn't focus as well, manual focus is better. Here is a picture of my cat. The quality is convincing, I would not have thought that such good photos would come out with a €40 lens. Those are the first things I noticed. Well worth it, especially for the price :)
Top! Very good for the price, except for small things ☺️
