So I'm really very surprised and excited here you get something good for little money. The lens arrived very quickly and was packaged in air-cushioned packaging. It fits perfectly on my canon eos 1000d, technically no problems. I want to use this lens for portraits. Since I only take pictures as a hobby, that's enough. Unfortunately, the really good lenses are very expensive, so I was very unsure how this cheap model would look, but I was surprised at how good the focus is. I can't complain.

I am amazed at the value for money. Focal length 1.8 a very good result. If you put a few scales on it, then you get a focal length of 1.6 :) I'll keep that thing. I decided to do this because of portrait pictures. And since a fixed focal length is more suitable because of the better depth of field.
Super depth of field

Can't really fault anything for the price. Only the loud and somewhat slow autofocus "could" be annoying. Otherwise, I am very satisfied!

The lens is definitely worth the price! At first I wanted to order the Canon 50mm lens, but then by chance I came across this one. I used it for the first time today (horse photography) and am thrilled! Unbelievable what a lens for only 50€ can do! While I have to say the autofocus isn't particularly fast, the manual focus ring is a bit spongy and the image sharpness isn't quite as good as the original, it's definitely worth it for the price. I myself only recently switched to manual photography completely, which is why the rather poor autofocus doesn't bother me. The lens is my first real lens (besides the kit lens from Canon) and I can recommend anyone who is just starting out in photography to get this lens. Luckily I was able to try the original 50mm lens before and the differences really aren't that big. Conclusion: If you are just starting out with photography, you will certainly have a lot of fun with this lens and can improve a few things with it. However, if you have been taking photos for a long time and value high quality and image sharpness more, you should rather go for the original.
Great lens for beginners

bought this fixed focal length because it was recommended to me several times. At first I was a bit skeptical because of the comparatively low price, but this lens convinces with good pictures. The bokeh is absolutely amazing - just really beautifully blurred. So I would recommend this lens to everyone!
Super lens at an unbeatable price!

I decided on this lens because I wanted a cheap fixed focal length lens for my system camera. The Yongnuo YN 50mm is used with an AF adapter on my Sony Alpha 7. After about a month of testing, I am positively overwhelmed. The images with this lens are razor sharp and the depth of field is more than surprising for this price.
Absolute top product!

would never have expected such an image quality from a lens that costs around €100. Of course, the workmanship is not the best and there is a lot of plastic, but for the price it definitely deserves its 5 stars

was initially skeptical as to whether a lens for €90.00 would be worth anything. I ordered it, screwed it to my Canon 80D and didn't want to take it off. Very nice, sharp pictures. Nice bokeh, processing top. Feels very high quality. The only downside is the autofocus. I think it sucks. Totally slow. Sometimes 2-3 seconds until something is sharp. But it works. Therefore recommend the MF for focusing. AF usable, but just takes forever. All in all, a great lens for a great price! I highly recommend it.

Just awesome, I take almost all of my pictures with the lens and I am sometimes still surprised at how good the lens is. Recommended for beginners.
