I like using tripods when I'm taking photos at events. This tripod suits my needs very well. It comes with a carry case with short handles or a longer one that I can sling over my shoulder. The tripod height can be adjusted to your needs. The legs have a twist lock at are easy to extend and lock. The feet have a padded rubber that helps prevent the tripod from slipping. One of the legs can be removed to create an adjustable monopod. The top has a level. The metal ball head moves smoothly. The angle of the legs can easily be adjusted. I like that I can easily go from a wide base to a smaller base with easy.Overall this is a great tripod. It is lightweight and easy to set up and tear down.

I previously had a Aluminium K&F tripod but I found it difficult to manage With my arthritic sausage fingers . So apart from the obvious stability requirement I was looking for a much easier mechanism to open up and adjust the tripod . I am sure there are much better Carbon fibre tripods out there but when you have a tight budget this tripod has it all, easy to use, solid enough for what I require and above all a in a good price range. I’m very happy with it as I have been with all K&F products that I have purchased.

The title really says it all but let me break down the best features.1. Carbon fiber makes this tripod strong and VERY light weight. I was really surprised how light it was while still able to support both my Nikon Z7II or Z9 with a heavy duty L-bracket. Some travel tripods dump the weight by using thin legs or plastic hardware. This doesn't do either of those things!2. As mentioned, almost all the non-carbon fiber parts are metal or heavy duty rubber. No cheap plastics or other compromises that limit performance.3. One leg screws off so you can use it as a monopod eliminating the need to carry both when you're packing light.4. It comes with a good ball head. Yes, we all probably have a few of these laying around but in case you don't, this setup comes with a really nice one.5. Comes with a case to keep it protected.OK nothing is perfect and there are a few things I'd like to see improved on but they're all rather minor.1. I'd like both the tripod and the monopod to extend higher. I'm a taller human, I like my gear to extend to at least 6'6" and this is close but not quite there. If that doesn't matter to you, no big deal.2. I'd like a little more rigidity when the tripod is fully extended. This might not be a problem for many people, especially those with lighter gear. Both of my cameras as larger and heavier than most and I have them outfitted with larger pro L-brackets. All this makes them heavy but well within the stated limits.Overall at this price point you're going to be REALLY challenged to find a better tripod for travel use than this one. I'm really happy with it and I'll be using it as my primary travel tripod for the foreseeable future.

Great compact tripod where the legs fold inwards for a smaller design. The leg heights are secured by twisting the lock for each length. I'm happy that this is compatible with my Peak Design's Arca plate so now I can use the clutch without removing it for the tripod. The ball head design is great cause it allows you to set the camera at any angle, including portrait shots. It is nice and sturdy and I am comfortable using it with my other equipment without any fear of it tipping over.

I've wanted a carbon fiber tripod for a long time and I have a lot of K&F concept equipment and am a huge fan because everything from this brand that I have got has exceeded my expectations of quality. I am absolutely thrilled with this tripod and as a content creator I use it every day. It's replaced my old aluminum one that was still nice, but this is just sooooo nice! Everything works very smoothly and the build quality is excellent and you can just tell the moment you pick it up that it's a high quality product. How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean:1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could.2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again.3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great.4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again.5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid kf concept shopper, as well as an kf concept Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.

Get it.Seriously, this is an awesome tripod. I say this a lot, but it's true: K&F has top notch products, and this is no exception. Carbon fiber is so much better in my opinion than aluminum tripods. This folds up really small, comes with a nice travel case, and is sturdy. 10/10 stars

This very lightweight carbon fiber tripod comes in cylindrical bag that is only a little over 20 inches long and 5 inches in diameter. To fit into the bag with the pan and ball head mounted, the center column is extended full length and the telescoping legs are then collapsed, unlatched and then folded upward and parallel to the center column. I think this is going to be the tripod of choice for traveling because it is so much more substantial than our other compact tripods but the bag is only slightly larger in diameter.I'm still coming to grips with twist-locks for the telescoping legs (I find levers to be quicker), but I'll get used to them. I find that I prefer using this tripod with the last section of the legs left unextended, putting the top of the camera plate at about belly-button height for me. This provides the best stability, and I can still extend the center column to raise it if need be.Thankfully the ball and pan head on this tripod are nearly perfect. I have had bad experiences with other compact tripods with swivels that wobble unless locked down. For photography this is rarely a problem anyway because I'm usually locked when in position, and I don't really use a tripod like this for panning video. But I do appreciate the smooth, wobble-free motion of the K&F head. The ball head is equally perfect. With the notch in the ball head socket positioned straight forward to allow the camera to aim downward, the locking lever/knobs for the ball head and pan are conveniently located at equal angles left (for the ball lock) and right (for the pan lock). The ball lock is a lever instead of a knob, which gives a little better grip for tightening, and it has the common spring-loaded coarse repositioning mechanism that allows you to pull it out and reposition it to the optimum angle. The Arca-Swiss saddle lock and the pan lock are both fluted knobs. The locks for setting the leg angle are spring loaded. To widen the legs you pull the latch fully out, but when collapsing the legs to steepen the angle the latches pull in on their own and don't need to be pushed in as with some tripods. There are three 1/4-20 tapped holes for storing camera plate screws located between leg attach points. One spare screw is included.I think this is probably going to be my most commonly used tripod. It's compact for travel and yet stable enough for day to day use.Highly recommended.

I ordered this K&F Concept X-Series 68 inch/172cm Carbon Fiber Camera Tripod to replace an aging travel tripod.I always take a tripod when I travel. Despite that, I rarely use one. It's just not convenient (or comfortable) to carry a tripod around all day in addition to a load of camera gear. And, most "travel tripods" are just not stable enough for my Fuji GFX100s with a GF lens attached.K&F Concept addresses the weight vs. stability issue by using carbon fiber. It's strong and dimensionally stable but still light. Even with the ball head attached, this tripod comes in at under 3.5 pounds. When folded, it's just 19.5 inches long, so it will fit into most carry-on bags or strapped to the side or bottom of a backpack. The BH-30 ball head operates smoothly and tightens down to prevent any camera movement. The legs extend by unscrewing a knob. This is not my favorite adjustment method, as I've run into situations in the past where sand and dirt begin to affect the smooth operation of the knobs. That said, the legs adjust smoothly and lock down tight. This is certainly not the lightest tripod available, but for the price it offers a good value.
