I rated this product with 5 stars without putting it through any serious testing all though I did connect my cell phone to the solarflex straight out of the box in which my cell phone battery was completely dead and I got 85% in 2 hours with rain clouds over cast and no sunshine. All and all I would say it seems to be well made, and reasonably priced would've been nice to got a padded case, and usb.

It's a versatile and reliable solar panel for any situation. The conversion isn't perfect, but will charge any device in direct sunlight.

Actually measured 8 watts under full sun which is actually very good for a 10 watt rated panel. I had a 24 watt panel previously that barely got 12 watts most of the time. Its lightweight and easy to deploy. Just a simple and lightweight charger for backpacking. Good value overall.

First time trying it out, it was a 90% sunny day and I left it out angled at the sun for 4 hours and it was able to charge my entire 10,000 mAh battery bank. I was surprised it was able to charge it that fast. It's super thin and lightweight. Very easy to use. I just wish it came with a case for traveling.

I discharged my Anker Powercore 13000 to where it was blinking on the ~25% first light, then bugged it into the 10w solar panel and let it charge all day in mostly sunny weather just a few clouds frome time to time. Took about 6 hours, maybe a bit less to when the Anker's lights went off indicating a full charge. I'm impressed. It means I could charge my phone, bike computer, etc at night with the Anker and recharge the Anker during the day probably indefinitely. That's exactly what I bought this for.

If you're wondering, while this is made in China like everything else, it seems to be built like a tank, er Yeti. I assume where a USB cord plugs into the unit is split, though I wish it were moved inward so that the plug didn't stick out the side. This is a potential durability issue. Depending on how the panel is hung or strapped, the plug could get twisted and cause stress on plug or receptacle. But I'm not concerned as now I will have power indefinitely!

This solar panel works amazingly! I brought it out for hikes along rivers where I was in and out of overhead tree coverage and open fields and it charged my iPhone quick! from 50% to 96% in about an hour and a half! Love how it can fold into just one panel or be used as the two panel for even more coverage. Being able to clip it to a backpack is an added bonus! Anyone looking to get off the grid, prep, backpack/hike, or any outdoor activity should purchase this!!

I like having portable solar panels, for travel and for emergency use. In addition to charging the various household digital devices, this panel is great for my USB-powered battery chargers. What's nice about this one is it's a lot more powerful that the other panels I have. That comes at a cost, which I'll get into shortly.

The panel is advertised at 30W. I don't have the equipment to verify that, but I will say that it's a lot more powerful than my other panels that have lesser ratings. It made fast work of four rechargeable batteries. Construction appears to be sufficiently tough. The panels are thin and sealed. I wouldn't use this in the rain (probably wouldn't work to well anyway with no sunshine) but if it got wet briefly I wouldn't worry about it.

Due to its size and the way it's constructed, it's a little harder to open up and prop up. You can do it, but it takes some more effort. The charger has loops at each corner for hanging, and two clips are included for that purpose. Also, because it has a higher power rating it has to have more panels, and that means more weight. This isn't ultra-heavy, but it's probably not something I'd take backpacking. Car camping, sure.

There's only one USB port for charging, which is a bummer. My other panels have two ports.
