Weather Station Wireless Indoor Outdoor Home Weather Stations with Atomic Clock, Digital Weather Thermometer, Temperature Humidity Monitor Weather Forecast Stations with Moon Phase
SKU: GW40.0003US
I've been after an indoor and outdoor weather station for a little while and this device is the perfect starting point for a weather station
There is an indoor and outside unit, both can be battery powered and the indoor unit can be also powered by usb plug cable.
The indoor provides a clear and bright screen that is easy to ready. Giving clear information on temperature both inside and outside along with pressure readings and moon phases.
Setting up these devices is very straightforward and within a few minutes it's all connected up.
For what it provides it is farily decent and easy to read and understand.
Definitely would recommend.

Our last weather station had to be replaced by the seller as it wasn't accurate with the outdoor temperature. Now, that replacement unit is acting the same way. We decided to try this ALongSong Weather Station Indoor Outdoor Thermometer. So far, it is perfect. I said "so far" as it took the other one to start giving inaccurate readings. Hopefully, this unit will continue to give us perfect readings. Not only does it give the temperature and humidity, but it also offers weather forecasts, moon phases, an alarm clock, atmospheric pressure index, and other things. It does just about everything but the dishes! I'm thrilled with this unit and very highly recommend it!

I really like this weather station. My years old one that has done me proud for a long time has started to mess around and won’t connect to the outdoor sensor properly, so this is a welcome replacement.
In the box you get the main display, the outdoor sensor, a USB lead with plug and an instruction booklet.
It’s very easy to set up, the main unit takes either batteries or you can plug it in, the outdoor sensor needs batteries, once up and running there are a number of buttons along the top of the main display unit, and you use these to change the time and date etc. Or, if you plug the unit in with the lead as I have, it sets itself automatically. The outdoor sensor connected without any issues, but there are two small buttons (test & temp) and a switch on the inside of the battery compartment that you can use to change the channel it transmits from if you find it won’t connect, so slide the switch and see if that helps.
I placed the outdoor sensor on our shed wall, around 10 meters or so away from the unit which is on the kitchen windowsill, and it works perfectly.
I love the big clear colour display (my old one was black & white) and the moon phases, which is something I had on my last on and was eager to keep.
My only gripe with this unit is that when running on batteries only the colour display defaults to dark after 10 seconds, so to make the most out of the unit you really do need to plug it in.
There is also an alarm clock function if needed, but I don’t use this.
Overall, this is a great item, and I hope I get as many years out of it as I did my last one.

The ALongSong Weather Station is a great addition to any home, providing accurate weather information at a glance. The wireless outdoor sensor allows you to keep track of the weather conditions outside without having to step outside yourself. The RCC Radio Wave Signal Reception ensures that you have the correct time and date, even during daylight saving time changes.
The auto light sensing feature is a nice touch, automatically adjusting the brightness of the display based on the lighting conditions in the room. The large color display is easy to read and provides a wealth of information, including weather forecast, indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, and more.
The digital atomic clock feature is also a useful addition, keeping accurate time and ensuring that you are always on schedule. The setup process was straightforward and the device is easy to use.
Overall, I would highly recommend the ALongSong Weather Station to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use weather monitoring device for their home.

This weather station is extremely quick and easy to set up, consisting of nothing more than either connecting to a USB-C power source or fitting three AAA batteries (not included). On powering on, the settings are radio controlled so the time, date and moon phase are set automatically and the outdoor temperature is read from the separate AAA-battery powered outdoor unit.
On testing the outdoor unit, there is a temperature reading discrepancy of 0.5°C when compared with other monitors and placing the outdoor unit indoors beside the indoor unit. However, this doesn't worry me as a domestic user.
Features include a graphical weather indication, barometric pressure (missing on several other weather stations), humidity readings, a clock and alarm clock. For severe weather, alerts can be set such as a warning of frost or excessive heat in order to protect vulnerable plants or cover a car windscreen to protect from frost. On the reverse, the instructions are printed to remind users how to use the weather station's additional features. So many instruction manuals are mis-filed or lost so having the instructions printed on the actual product can be incredibly helpful.
The display is bright and clear and can be hung on a wall or used on a desk via the integrated stand. Yesterday, we had a power cut during a storm and within minutes of the power being restored, the unit reset and was running again with no user intervention.
We've used a few weather stations and this is the best of them all, so far.
Recommended for its easy of use, complete reliability, full range of features and attractive appearance too.

*Updated review after the wrong review went on the wrong item*
I've had many weather station's over the last year and this is by far the best.
The main unit is mains powered and runs off a usb cable and as soon as you find the RCC signal it's up and running. I had a few issue with direction on the main display as the area I wanted it meant it would have to be sideways. In that same position turning it meant it received a signal. I've mounted it to the rear wall and DST signal locked on straight away. I read online they can be a bit iffy with the way the antenna's are inside but if you can't get a signal, just try turning it.
The outside reader links with zero issues over an area of around 8m. It seems that the battery housing is well made and looks weatherproof. It is actually really accurate in readings. Even in direct sun the thermometer gives accurate temps. I've had others which will literally state 42° in direct sun but this one is identical to my thermometer when comparing. It doesn't give silly over the top numbers.
The main display gives both temperature as well as humidity and on top of that it gives current pressure readings too. Brilliant as my others haven't ever done that.
Once setup via DST it will automatically link and sync, you'll have a sat imagine display and the date and time will sync. It also allows the display to set the moon phase when doing this. You can obviously manually input all the information but I used this feature to automatically do it all.
Theres an alarm feature on this so it can be used as a bedside (I think - haven't used this feature as it's in the kitchen) and it has a snooze button. The snooze button is where you control your brightness for the display. Hard press and then to go the varying levels.
You can set temperature alarms too, you can change these between -20 & 50°. The display will sound if they're breached.
The manual is a bit hit and miss and doesn't make sense to me. Thankfully with being automatic set up off RCC I was able to navigate but there's things in the manual which are all over the place. I ended up ignoring it. You would find certain features just randomly written in other features information and then have to understand how you get to that place in the first place.
The only thing I'm not sure of is the current weather symbols. I thought they may change with the weather but mine has remained on sunny with clouds, even at night.
That is the only niggle and it's ten times better than any other I've used recently.

Had a little difficulty starting the set up. Until it gets a satellite signal you can't do anything. Once that's established it's pretty easy.

This weather monitor comes with the main display, a remote temperature and humidity sensor and a USB C power cord.
The main unit works with battery power (3 AAA batteries not included) or from a USB connection. The remote sensor requires 2 AAA batteries (also not included).
When I first powered the unit on with batteries I had some issues with the time setting and it wouldn't switch from 12 to 24 hour time. The remote sensor initially connected but didn't update. I removed the batteries and put them back in, which basically reset the unit. After I did that everything seemed to work quite normally.
The unit displays both indoor and outdoor temps and humidity. It is a nice looking unit and you can see what the current temp and humidity conditions are at a glance. It also displays the current moon condition, which my wife really likes.
Overall a pretty nice weather display.

I absolutely love the weather station. I have several since I have a greenhouse filled with orchids. Most have a small, short lived outdoor unit. Everything about this set is larger, nicer and easier to read. I'd been wanting a bedside clock and this has a clock up top. I hadn't really thought about it before but this little item will help me decide how to dress for the day. I opened the box, plugged in the indoor units plug (which is a usb plug that didn't come with the plug for the wall part). Added batteries to both and they instantly connected. No buttons to push or anything. Very easy. I sat the outdoor part on the window ledge outside and there are no issues with the two items staying connected. The price is a little higher than some I've bought, but as I said earlier the features are very nice. Easy to read face. Also, at night you can push the button on the front and it will light up for a few seconds. Five stars. I had no issues setting it up and I like the size of both units.

I like the fact that this is compact design, but shares a lot of easy to read info. My last weather displays had limited info and often were not accurate, this seems to compare in accuracy to normal thermometers and other weather inputs. I like the large numbers. The case and stand type seem sturdy, and it does not take up a lot of space in my kitchen area!
