I ordered this K&F CONCEPT NP-W235 2400mAh Battery to use in my Fuji GFX100s.

The GFX100s is a great camera, but battery life is not so great. Instead of using a larger battery, Fuji chose to use the smaller battery from their Fuji-X cameras to keep the 100s as small as possible. While I appreciate the form factor of the 100s, I'm not a fan of how many batteries it goes through during a heavy day of shooting. And because I often carry more than one camera, that means carrying a charger for each battery type.

Kudos to K&F CONCEPT for eliminating the need for a separate battery charger. This battery has a USB-C input that allows you to charge the battery from any source of USB power. I tested the battery life and I did not really see any difference between the K&F CONCEPT and my OEM Fuji battery. I should note that the OEM battery is about a year old, so it has probably degraded somewhat whereas the K&F CONCEPT is new. As for recharge time, it took under 3 hours to go from a dead to fully charged.

I did try to recharge the K&F CONCEPT with the OEM Fuji charger and got no errors, so if you want to use a standard charger, you can. Personally, I'll be replacing all of my W-235 batteries with these as they age and lose the ability to hold a decent charge.

After shooting over 100 shots the battery is about 3/4 full. Seems to be working as well as the original Fuji battery.

This particular battery model boasts a highly practical feature - a USB-C charging port that is built into its design. It should also be noted that this battery model has a marginally higher capacity than the original OEM battery. Great value for the money. I will highly recommend it.

The biggest advantage of this battery is that it can be charged directly through a USB-C charging source. No special, proprietary charging device is needed. You don't need to use the camera to charge it either. With ubiquitous of USB-C, it almost guarantees you will be able to charge it when needed. This is especially helpful in travel. By the way, you can still charge it using Fujifilm XS-20 or XT-4 and so on, if you want to. Fujifilm's W235 has 2200mAh capacity. This one has 2400mAh, a bit more juice. Overall, this one is better than the OEM one, I think.

This is a great idea, building the recharging component directly inside the battery housing so that you no longer have to carry a separate battery charger. All you do is connect the USB C cable to a power source and connect the other end to the battery itself (which has a USB C port built into the body). The supplied cable is short, but adequate. The dimensions and sizing of the battery are exactly the same as the original OEM battery, and the battery slides in and out and clicks into place in the camera just like the original. A nice touch is that it comes with a protective cap for when it is not in use (even the original Fuji batteries do not!). No concerns about battery life compared to the OEM. About half the price of the original battery. And, as pointed out by another reviewer, you can also charge the battery with a traditional charger if desired. Feels like a high quality build. Highly recommended.

This battery is like other third party batteries for the Fujifilm X series cameras, but with a nice extra feature. That feature is the USB-C port on the battery to allow charging it from a USB charger.

You can also charge the battery in the standard way by putting it into a charger.

I like the USB-C charger approach because it provides a second way of charging the battery. When I travel, I take a battery charger with me. But if something happened and I lost the charger, or it failed, I'd be in a heck of a mess because I'd quickly run out of battery power for my camera. With the USB-C charging port, I can still charge the batteries.

The battery claims a slightly greater capacity than the original Fujifilm battery - 2400mAh compared to 2200 mAh - and works in my X-H2 camera fine.

Recommended to anyone traveling with a Fujifilm camera.

Replacement battery for Fuji XT5 works as good as if not better than oem. Love the versatility in charging options, battery pack, wall usb plug in or in camera charging. Great battery for camera at a reasonable price.

I use my xt4 for 4k footage at 59.9. I run through batteries a lot. this battery has held up like the original that came with the xt4. I am glad it is also a different color because I can't get mixed up with the others. I like that I can also just use a wire to charge it without using the block that the others need. I actually thought I would have been able to have it charge in the camera while using it. but the door would not close. i have a lot of small rig things and this was definitely a good choice.

This is easily the best third party battery I have owned for a camera. In some ways, it is better than the OEM battery. I have always purchased third party batteries for my backup batteries. I have never had a bad experience and they are just so much less expensive than OEM. That said, the OEM battery is still the best option for battery life and longevity. I just don’t believe the higher price is worth it. The K&F CONCEPT battery is in the middle price range and is probably the best option for most owners. I have found the battery life to be as good, if not better than Fujifilm’s battery. It is rated higher, but that doesn’t always mean it will last longer… well in this case, it does. The USB-C port on the battery is a convenience. I have charged my batteries both in the camera and in a third party charger that charges 2 at a time. The USB-C will just add another option to that list. BTW, this battery charges nice in camera and in my charging dock… no issues. I am really happy with this battery and will probably stick with K&F CONCEPT batteries in the future. I already use their camera cages and other accessories. So happy to buy from a trusted brand.
