Love the microscope! It came in perfect condition and the look is really good for this price! It is certainly versatile and will delight both a curious child and a student or ambitious amateur gardener.
There is no instruction manual in German, only English, but that doesn't bother me.
It is really easy to use and you only need an AAA battery to get started (not included). The object carriers with examples are also great for creating a sense of success right away and showing you what's going on.
Really exciting and certainly an ideal gift for children with a passion for science.

My son loves his small microscope.
It is sold with small ready-to-use plates on which you can see various little things.
I am impressed with the sharpness of the camera. It's really great for an introduction.
My son takes him everywhere with him, and thus discovers the details of all the little things that surround us.

A small microscope that can be taken everywhere with you or discover the infinitely small!
When walking, hiking with or without children, this small microscope is very useful to observe very closely the plants on the edges of paths.
Despite its pocket size it is complete. A zoom to apply according to the objects to be observed, and a sharpness adjustment to adapt to all views. A small screwdriver is provided to open the battery housing needed to light the LED located on the base to ensure good clarity of the subjects to be observed.
5 starter blades are provided, which allow you to become familiar with the functions of this small microscope!
I wear eyeglasses, but that's not annoying, it doesn't stop me from observing the beautiful foliage of our beautiful nature!

I was surprised by the sharpness of the image, compared to other “microscopes for children” where you can see something completely blurry. The lens seems to be made of glass and not plastic, and that changes everything.
The field of vision is not very wide but it is not very important, we are not on a serious use. Simply place the microscope on the object to be viewed, there is a small support that allows both to have the right distance and to illuminate the subject. Then you adjust according to his sight. Finally, the second dial allows you to change the magnification.
There are blades with pieces of insects ready to watch, to start right away. Attention the blades seem to be made of glass too, do not break them.

He wanted to install the battery by himself and in the end he knows how to use it better than me...
I was able to quickly view the included plates, which seemed to me to be of good quality and very clear, and that's all, he then grabbed the device
. He is very interested in the formation of things and their composition, he can see a big picture of the small cells around him, and everything goes everywhere where he can put the microscope and get something out of it.
I'm delighted that this pocket microscope could contribute to partly satisfying his curiosity.
