This is not my first side light in this form factor, but this is the first that came with a soft silicone diffuser, and it really makes a difference you can't outright see the LEDs with it on. It's very easy to operate and changing the colors is as simple as turning a dial to the desired color. If you're just starting out with streaming or photography and need a light like this... don't let the low price fool you, it's very capable at this price point.

This is not my first video light, and I’m sure this is a good video light. Color of RGB can be changed easily and the battery last relatively long, at least 2 hours as I tested. Will buy the second one if needed.

For a little light this is surprisingly bright. There is a learning curve dialing in the different colors, and the brightness settings are limited to three. But otherwise it is a great light.

This little light is fantastic, unique, and super easy to use. Very well built and supper portable; I'm ordering two more to complete my set. The knobs are an excellent and very thoughtful addition. The effects on the light are a plus, and the battery life lasts a long time. It s’s very bright, and the colors it produces are excellent. I will recommend it 100%.

One of the best mini lights i have come across

The Tofu RGB light by Photoolex, is a small but surprising little camera helper that can add some much needed light or colors to any scene. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.

I. Quality – It’s on the lower side of the quality scale, as you should expect for this level of cost. But, it’s still decent putting it in the middle range of the quality scale. I’m expecting this to last a good while, but not exceptionally long.
II. Usability – It’s a very usable light in the right situations. It’s only mildly bright because of its size and will therefor only add supplemental light in most cases. It’s also great to add some additional color to change the overall look. The size is a hug benefit if you’re looking for something you can shove in a pocket or purse to take along easily. The camera mounts are also a huge benefit for my needs.

Overall, this has been a great addition to my lighting arsenal and definitely surprised me in a good way. I’m very happy with it so far for its limited, but big contributions. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems.

This light comes with a tripod, a soft box installer so that you put inside your camera the works. It’s not a strong as light, but I have every special effect necessary for a light at this site, flickering candles, television set police, you name it that has it design itself is light itself is made out of plastic and feels kind of cheap and it’s something I definitely would wanna buy, some protection for it never now ?

I adore this little light! Mine is a different graphic style than in most of the listing photos but that's besides the point. And I actually like the graphics on mine better. It comes in a cute little "tofu" style tub. Again, beside the point but a fun presentation.

So many great features packed in this tiny thing. Variable brightness and color temperature. And VERY bright at it's highest setting. Fun effects as well.

Easy to tuck away in a kit bag. There are only a few knobs and dials and they are pretty intuitive. My tween granddaughter helped me set it up for testing and she was able to adjust it without reading the manual. I did read the manual "just in case."

The light is reasonably soft (depending on distance to subject) as is but it also comes with an additional diffuser that's easy to snap on and off. Not listed that I noticed but in addition to the light I received a little mini tripod and clip. Both of which make it easy to mount the light in unexpected places.

I hesitated to order when I first saw this little tofu light, thinking it was maybe more of a gimmick. But it's a solid and useful bit of gear that I enjoy.

i like the physical knobs on the side, the only reason I took away a star is because you still need to use a button on the back to cycle through the diff lights, I really wanted to be able to control all of it with the knobs

This is such a cool little tool to add to my photography kit. Has so many settings, colors, and light features that are useful for different effects!
