This is one of those tripods that we end up loving. Solid tripod, easy to handle, to transport. It is the ideal support for anyone who wants to take care of their camera. Highly recommended and reasonably priced.

I have gone through dozens of tripods. Using it for both work and photography hobby, this is one of the best tripods I’ve ever had. Works great, lightweight and the carry case is very nice.

This is the tallest and most durable tripod I have purchased for outdoor photo shoots. The photos and descriptions on the product page are thorough and show what the tripod is capable of doing.

I had a very dumpy, Amazon Basics-style rudimentary tripod that lasted me over 10 years until last year. One of the wingnut adjustments was over-tightened and stopped working. Got a cheap, "heavy duty" $40 replacement from Walmart that lasted about 4 months. Finally took the plunge and ordered this tripod, and I'm definitely never looking back!I only use it for extended periods while shooting the statues, figures and pieces I paint, so administer with a granule of sodium, but this thing is more than adequate for what I'm doing with it and I'm very confident it could survive any trips I made for reference shots for paintings, in any sort of environment. It feels sturdy, holds position with zero fuss, and even the ball head joint feels great a few months in. The nicest thing is the added arm, which will make videography an easy adjustment if and when I get around to recording myself working. Love this tripod so far!

Good quality right out of the box, and first impressions were good on how robust it is, how stiff the joints are, how tightly it can be locked off, and how versatile it is at maneuvering into any position you care to think of.
Overall, it is a pleasure to use, it looks nice, feels nice and is easy to set up. The foam grip is really nice to handle. The ball head locks off with a heavy DSLR nice an stable. this is my 3rd tripod now, and is instantly my favourite

Got a cheap, "heavy duty" C$80 replacement from Walmart that lasted about 4 months. Finally took the plunge and ordered this tripod, and I'm definitely never looking back!

I'd give this a five star but for the ball head. It doesn't lock well with a spotting scope or a heavy lens and camera body on it. I ended up buying a Neewer pan/tilt head, which fortunately fits the K&F tripod well. Other than that, it is a decent piece of equipment. Just keep in mind, it is a travel tripod, and won't give you a solid mount impervious to wiggling from wind or hand adjustments. For that, I continue to look for that elusive affordable tripod.

I have had several tripods in my life time, but none quiet like the K&F Concepts 78 inch tripod with the 360 Degree Ball Head. After reading the enclosed paperwork (1 small sheet of paper) I went onto YouTube and watched some vids on the tripod. Even the Ken Franks website was very informative also.
So far I have not found any "cons" on the tripod. I have taken photos in every position you can imagine, I even tried the "hanging the camera" upside down and got some great close ups of ants, bugs, spiders and yes even grass.
Living in the South at this particular time outdoor shooting is based on the weather. I cant wait to get out and do some landscapes and see the results.
If you are looking for a tripod for you camera that is of outstanding quality without breaking the bank, I highly recommend this tripod. I got the 78 inch version due to being 6 foot 3 inches.
Ken does have other styles and heights. Check them out. You won't go wrong!
