K&F Concept Alpha Camera Sling Bag 10L Photography Shoulder Bag, Compatible with Canon / Nikon / Sony Camears / DJI Mavic Drones, Sling Bag10L Urban Wander 01(Black )
SKU: KF13.157V1
When going out for a photo walk you don‘t always want to be encumbered by a backpack, especially if you are taking minimal gear with you, a camera sling is a nice compromise.
I have bought filters from K&F Concept for some time now and always found them to be of good quality and a reasonable price, so when I was offered this to review this bag from them I jumped at the chance, I wasn't paid to do this and this is my honest opinion of usability and quality.
The bag is well made with possibly the strongest internal pads I have ever seen in a bag of this size, perfect for keeping a small camera and a pair of lenses both protected and in place.
There are 2 main zipped pockets that provide ample space for a phone, spare batteries and the other odds and ends you generally carry around when on a photowalk.
The outside of the bag is wipe clean and I'd definitely showerproof, I took it out yesterday in light rain and had no issues with my kit getting wet and imagine it could probably take a heavier downpour without breaking a sweat.
On the underside of the bag are the obligatory straps for a small tripod, whilst I tried mine for size it isn't something I normally have with me on an urban shoot which is what I feel this bag is best suited to so I can't comment on how comfortable it would be to carry with one attached a full days shooting.
With the kit shown in the photo though it was very comfortable and for once I didn't get any neck pain, something that can be problematic with small camera bags.
Whilst I haven't used it for my drone yet I can confirm that it easily takes my Mini 3 pro, 4 batteries with charger and controller, and affords more protection than the OE drone bag.
Would I recommend this at the current asking price of £29.99 (with voucher)?
Most definitely.

As someone who uses LMG pouches for lenses and small camera bodies along the cheep and perfect size SA80 pouches for battery banks for use on webbing or plate carrier setups using an actual side small messenger carry bag is interesting.
After tossing together a testing kitload of everyday kit for low weight it‘s quite handy to carry this in one bag with its own compartments rather then on belt pouches or pockets, which is I assume is more the norm for urban photographers.
Now the quality of the bag is decent to say the least it's got a wether-proofed exterior coating so water will roll off or won't get inside the zippers are fairly good not sure how they will last long term but not had anything kink easily so far.
The organisation pouches and internal divider is actually really handy especially if you're just a basic aps-c or two lens Sony A7 mirrorless user for example, it's just the right amount of space.
Overall for lightweight kit users this is a fine bag or an ideal gift for someone with a new camera setup, but doesn't replace webbing and pouches for me when I need to be able to access 3 or more lenses or misc articles of kit without moving too much.
Also the strap is okay but you will want to add some extra padding to it if you're running heavier gear you can add stitchable or velcrow strapable sholder pads from many vendors.
If I was to make improvements, molly all the way, if this bag had Molly attachment and loop points it would be super flexible.

This bag is perfect for smaller cameras. Mirrorless APS-C bodies and point and shoots. You may be able to get away with smaller full frame bodies too but no battery grips and super telephoto lenses. If you have those you‘re probably not looking at small bags anyway. I can fit my A6400 with 3 lenses (1 attached) and room more maybe another small lens in the main compartment. Main comes with a folding divider that attaches with velcro but there's only a couple differing configurations you could do. The two slim compartments are ideal for cables, cards and extra batteries and chargers. The inner one against yourself is very slim while the outer one is more versatile. Even has a detachable key fob ring for your keys. The non-removable strap has a detaching buckle to take the bag off quick and is attached to two points on each side so that it naturally compresses the bag when you wear it which keeps it from being bulky which I like. The orientation of the strap allows it to be worn over the shoulder or as a belt style fanny pack. The strap is wide nylon but no padding. Adjustments are smooth and easy though. There is also a grab handle that is slightly off balance but not to the point of tilting and risking stuff falling out. This is primarily a camera bag but could function as an EDC, depending on your needs.

The K&F Concept 10l sling bag is a discreet small over the shoulder sling that happily holds a small mirrorless like a microfour thirds camera and a couple of lenses, or a full frame mirror less with one lens. It also works as an excellent bag for a small drone like a dji mini. That it folds completely flat is useful if you want a small bag on a holiday as it doesn’t take up a lot of space when travelling.
The main compartment zips up from the top and open wide enough to reach into either side (some slings the zips don’t open wide enough.) The top loading also makes makes it easier to swap lenses as you can use the bag as a shelf. Inside the bag is a flexible divider that will let you partition for lenses and bodies easily. This is a very good divider, it if you use it to hold two lenses the shelf it forms is rigid.
There are small pockets in the bag for memory cards, and a thin larger pocket for filters or papers. As a walking around bag its great; you can attach a camera clip to the strap to carry a little more around with you. I found it very useful on a tiny plane this week as an at seat bag, it let me carry my camera and power bank whilst my backpack needed to go in the baggage compartment.

This is ideal for a walk-about photography bag as I can get my body and a couple of lenses and even strap a tripod to the bottom which saves me having to take my regular backpack, it‘s well made, feels rainproof and gives good padding for the size, really no complaints at all from me it's idea as a day bag.

I ordered this bag to replace a very old LowePro that I had bought 20 years ago. This one is definately a more updated model. For one, the materials are much more waterproof, I like the large, flat seamless sruface on the front, should be great for keeping out the rain when worn like sling. The text says it will hold a DSLR, maybe but my mirrorless Canon R5 is a bit of stretch already. It can only hold the R5 without cage or grip and a short prime. This bag is better suited to my Leica Q, which fits well in the center compartment, and I can also put the small Fuji flash I use for the Q and the Leica tabletop tripod as well. It is better to have a smaller sling bag that doesn‘t hold as much to keep the weight down. So I'll be using this to hold my Leica Q and use a larger messenger or holster bag for the R5.

When unpacking, in its 33x22x7cm cardboard box, it seems very small! You can immediately see that the quality is there and that it is well designed: exterior zipper pockets and interior velcro, adjustable internal separation, everything is there.
But I was thinking of housing my SLR and its big professional zoom + its cobra flash there, while hanging my carbon tripod there with its ball head... a bet paid off as you can see in the photos!
The goal is well achieved: everything fits, and the strap remains comfortable on the shoulder...Convinced!

Upon receipt we found a box stamped with the K&F Concept logo? We immediately feel that we are not dealing with a no name product which risks being of very questionable quality. When opened, a protection, again with the logo, protects the bag. This bag immediately gives a feeling of solidity. The seams are impeccable, the slightly gummed fabric should protect the camera properly. I haven't tested it in rainy conditions! I would confirm this after an outing in these conditions. The bag is small, so you have to plan what you have to store in it before purchasing. I own a bridge and I will only store the camera and a cobra flash in it. It will be more than enough for me to protect them properly. Other pockets offer storage for additional batteries, memory cards, etc. a wide shoulder strap is provided for easy transport of the set and it is offered with a quick release. The large rear pocket allows you to store your papers, phones, etc., practical during a longer outing. The product deserves 5 stars for me because it meets all of my storage needs.
