This is a great tool for the price. It does a great job of displaying the surface temperature. It also indicates the coldest and hotest points. It will also show the temperature at the point in the center of the screen. All great features.

The item arrived safely and with the camera you get a carry case, cleaning cloth and the user guide.
The quality of the camera is very good, it's well-made and it looks like it can stand up to a fair amount of abuse as the whole body of the camera is metal. The carry case is also a nice addition and helps to keep the camera safe.
Turning it on takes about 6 seconds and you are greeted with a clear and easy display to read. It hasn’t got a ton of options which makes it nice and simple to operate, there are 6 different color scales to choose from and you can view the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
A thermal camera is such a useful device to have as it can identify problem areas such as cold spots in radiators, thermal weaknesses in walls, and tons of other things. Although not in the trade I do build high specs computers and the camera really helps to visualise the hotter areas inside the case and where I need to concentrate the fans on.
The camera is quick to give readouts and shows the high and low points as well as a readout on what you have centered on the screen. Its easy to see/know what you're looking at and it seems very accurate as the temperature of an object in the room reads the same as the ambient temperature according to my thermometer.
Overall, It’s a very useful gadget and one that I’m more than happy to recommend, an easy five stars from me!

I had an issue with a contractor that rebuilt my shower. I told them that the shower was leaking but there was no proof. I ended up buying this thermal imagery camera to show the contractor where the water was accumulating in my soffit. I was able to snap pictures and send to the contractor. Once I sent the photos and mentioned lawyers, they quickly fixed the shower.

I will be keeping this tool to do periodic inspections around my house to catch any issues before they become a serious problem. This is a relatively inexpensive tool that could have saved me a claim on my insurance and/or $17k

Build quality is way better than it has any right to be. Resolution is good, not amazing, but that's the tech these days. Better than any at this price. If you need a thermal image, this is the one to get.

Used on our boat to check electrical circuits and wiring for corrosion / high resistance, and insulation on our apartment renovation. I've used a nice handheld flir unit for a research project a few years back and this unit is easily as good for a fraction of the cost. The unit seems plenty rugged and has excellent battery life. Some have complained about boot time, I just don't see the issue as I have never had to hurry to get a thermal shot of anything...

I recently purchased the Kentfaith Thermal Imaging Camera, and overall, it has proven to be a valuable tool for both professional and personal applications. The 256x192 IR resolution with 25Hz refresh rate ensures detailed images, making it an excellent device for various tasks.

My husband, who is a beekeeper, uses the camera to check the activity in his honeybee hives. The thermal imaging helps him monitor the health of the hives and detect any potential issues. Additionally, my son, who owns a couple of coffee shops, utilized the camera to identify heat loss in one of his buildings. It has been a helpful aid in maintaining energy efficiency and addressing insulation concerns.

The camera is undeniably effective and even brings an element of fun to these tasks, thanks to its accurate and reliable performance. The images it captures are detailed and provide valuable insights into temperature variations.

However, the one drawback we've noticed is the slow startup time. Every time the camera is turned on, there's a noticeable delay before it becomes fully operational. While this might not be a dealbreaker for everyone, it can be a bit frustrating when you need to quickly capture thermal images.

In summary, the Kentfaith Thermal Imaging Camera is a versatile and efficient tool for various applications. It delivers on its promises, offering accurate thermal images with a high resolution and refresh rate. Despite the slow startup, its performance outweighs this inconvenience, making it a valuable asset for both hobbyists and professionals alike.
