This is a very helpful and convenient electronic translator! I am excited to receive it. I have installed the App. I have tested it with my friends with Mandarin, English, Japanese, and French, their responses were very positive, they were all amazed how helpful and convenient it is. I tested its 3 modes: touch mode, free talk mode and speaker mode, all worked very well.
I also tried it to listen to music, and make/receive phone calls, the sound quality is pretty good too. The open-ear style is also comfortable to wear compared to in-ear style and won't fall.
This is a very useful tool for me, because I travel a lot around the world both for business and pleasure, I am going to Europe next month, so I will test it extensively in several foreign language environments and will update the review after my return.
In general, I like the earbuds very much, would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little help in learning/using common foreign languages.

I am very impressed with them. It takes a little playing around with in order to understand how to use them, because there are a few different options for using.
First of all, you need to download the app in order to use the earbuds.
If you are trying to talk with another person, each person puts an earbud in. You set the two languages you are trying to communicate in.
There is an option to tap the earbud and start speaking, and then the app translates for the other person into their language.
There is another option that you wear the earbud and touch it to speak, the translated voice will play from the phone speaker, you should tap the screen for the other peoson to speak, then you can hear the translated language from the earbud. That version a person has to be actively using the app.
The last option is also the one i use most, and it would me the easiest option...two persons wear earbud each, just tap "start conversation" on the app to freely talk. You both don't have to touch the earbud, it's very convenient. Sometimes the translation can be inflenced by other people's voice around, but not a big deal.
Overall, these are very impressive if you have some translation purposes.

I was a native English speaker and it picked up what I was saying very easily. I do not necessarily have any type of regional American accent, but speak pretty standard. I know some Hebrew so I tried translating with Hebrew, which I know I have an American accent with. I am surprised how it picks up my words and is right every time!

My daughter and son-in-law are missionaries and hold several trainings for other countries and always have a hard time finding someone to translate for them. With these it will make things so much easier. These are so amazing and the cost is very affordable.

I bought it because we are a multilingual household. My husband, initially quite dubious, who speaks 4 of the languages in the family, was impressed with the translation between two languages when neither was English. But after trying a few days, I am so particularly happy that he is also won over!

I really wasn't sure if these would work or not, but they WORK!! My husband was just as skeptical... We were watching a movie that was speaking Russian and my husband told me to get these out and test them. Since the movie had the subtitles on the bottom, we would know if they were translating correctly. I uploaded the app on my phone which was very easy, put the earbuds in, selected which language I wanted it to translate and waited. It translated the movie word for word. My husband didn't believe me so he put the earbuds in his ears and rewound the movie. Again it translated the movie word for word. It translated the Russian to English. I'm SO excited! I highly recommend these.

These earbuds are amazing. It translates real time conversation into my ear immediately. Very easy to set up and has a lot of cool features! I bought these earbuds to be able to communicate with my friend who speaks Spanish. We are traveling Spain soon so I thought purchasing the offline addition would be amazing just in case I lost service while I’m there. The offline package does not offer every language that it does while it’s online. It's extremely helpful during travels.

I’ve used these a couple of times to talk with a landscaping crew and a job foreman on a construction site. And by the end of the day, I began to remember words and phrases I’d previously used (provided by the earbuds), and was using them automatically, without waiting for the translation. In other words, these can be used to teach yourself a language. And it happens simply from using them in normal conversation. That’s an incredible bonus and a nice surprise!
