Absolutely wonderful backpack! It fits 2 of my camera bodies, 3-4 lens & my flash. It has lots of spots for batteries and accessories!

To get the couple of things that I don't like about this bag out of the way up front, I find it a little bit too much on the compact side for my frame. Even though I generally don't leave the house with a whole ton of camera equipment and what I do use tends to be compact itself I feel like I look a little silly wearing this bag as a 6 foot tall grown man. It tends to ride high on the shoulders (which is fine, generally, as there is no hip belt nor does it need one) but doesn't extend very far down my back so it looks a little bit like I'm wearing a kids backpack. Second thing is there is only one side strap to secure a tripod. It holds it OK (the head won't slip through once you've secured it) but it leaves the legs dangling and loose - even if you strap the legs themselves together separate from the bag, it'll still swing around - I feel like it should have two sets of straps to secure a tripod at two points. Third, and very minor since it comes with a rain fly, is that the product description makes it sound like it has waterproof zippers but while they may be somewhat water resistant they are definitely not waterproof zippers.Overall quality of the bag is pretty good, all things considered. The outer materials used all seem tough and the construction of the fabrics seems good enough with decent quality stitching all around. I like that the bag is minimalist and doesn't scream "expensive camera equipment inside!". The bag holds its shape quite well even when not fully loaded with some reinforcements inside, so things tend to stay in their places better. It has a huge amount of compartment customization, the insides are just chock full of velcro attachment points and it comes with more than enough velcro padded panels to customize the shape and size of the interior to what you needs. It does take some patience to put together but once you do it seems the velcro holds well and doesn't seem like it'll make you constantly readjust the interior. The bag more than comfortably fits everything I might typically go out of the house with when intending on taking photos - my laptop, Canon SL1 and Speedlite, both of my frequently used prime lenses as well as a zoom with lots of room to spare. The laptop compartment is completely separated from the rest of the bag and properly placed at the rear, is properly padded on both sides and accessible with it's own zipper so it passes a number of potential deal breaking challenges there. There is only the single exterior zippered pocket, it's big enough to put your wallet/documentation, phone, keys etc. in. It's adequate, but I like exterior pockets for stashing frequently used items in so more would have been better.

Its a beautiful backpack. Not to big or not too small. Great size. I definitely would recommend.

Pros:Large dedicated laptop pocket with lots of padding all the way aroundLong straps with lots padding, and a chest strap for securityComes with multiple dividers with Velcro attachment strips to pad your camera or whatever, or remove them to make space for large items.Several small pockets around the outside of the pack for miscellanyTough nylon outer shellCons:May not fit larger laptops ie over 15"At least one other reviewer reported trouble with the Velcro, said it doesn't hold well or last. Keep an eye on it.Other:Even nylon is only water-repellent, and you certainly don't want to get your expensive optics and electronics wet, so the maker includes an elasticized waterproof nylon cover. Yes, to protect your stuff from those April showers they included a shower cap.Over all, It seems to be a very nice pack. A little pricey for me, but I'm not using it to protect thousands of dollars worth of camera gear.

Unlike my previous camera bag, this one sits upright securely and does not seem to get top-heavy even with the DSLR in the top compartment. The modular design and good assortment of dividers means you can organize the main compartment however you like. There is ample room in here for two cameras - my Pentax K10D and K100D (I'm a sucker for the old CCD sensors and manual glass) fit snugly with three small primes and two zooms. The gusseted side pockets are a nice touch and help keep the bag streamlined and compact. There is room to attach a tripod to the outside of the bag, but be forwarned that the older, taller tripods will be taller than the bag once strapped down. My only complaint here would be the slippery nylon lining - my last bag had a velour type fabric inside, which I liked a little better.

I use this for my small travel kit and wanted a decent bag but didn’t want to beak the bank with another LowePro or similar. The construction seems to be top notch ... zippers and stitching are all well done. The bag is a bit light and it could do with some heavier foam internally around the perimeter but we’ll see how it is in use.The interior pockets in the lid (or main flap) are spacious and have small pockets for the zippers to slip into while closed - a nice touch to keep the zippers from scratching your gear. The bag comes with lots of dividers including a larger interior flap to separate the main camera area (T shaped bit at the top end in the main picture from the supplier) into two areas vertically. The main back-pack shoulder straps have good padding and seem well attached. The outer covering feels nice and it should be tough for a number of years. There is a small black vinyl area at the lower part of the front panel. It seems a bit thin so we’ll see how it lasts. The large back pocket works for the rain-cover and other storage ... maybe an iPad or small laptop.I’ll post again after I’ve used it a bit, but overall, I’m impressed so far.

I love the size of this backpack, distribution of weight on my back is nice. I can organize my gear nicely in this bag.I didn't have it in the rain yet so I cannot comment on the waterproof part, but the rain jacket is amazing and a surprise, I wasn't expecting.

Good product for what you pay, but not enough room for my gear. Would recommend if you are just beginning and don’t carry a lot of gear
