got mine yesterday and said I would test performance with and without this filter. I have a vintage Minolta lens that was from my grandfather so it is very valuable to me and I wanted to avoid damaging it. As the title suggests, there is slight yellowing, vignettes, and a barely noticeable loss of sharpness that I can detect when viewing it on my computer screen, although the compressed images I've added may not fully show. Resolution of the original images. Let's break down what I found: The Yellowing - This filter has a slight yellow tint which makes sense, it's a UV filter so the shorter wavelength light might have trouble getting through. This isn't a problem for me as it can easily be adjusted and fixed in software after adding a little more blue, or this might get you better results in the field depending on your conditions The vignette - This is very easy though noticeable when looking at the same image with the filter on and off, again this is not a problem for me as it can be fixed or tweaked in software so that it is indistinguishable The sharpness loss - the sharpness loss is even at 400% barely noticeable, which is great. After that, if you just add 1 percent more sharpness, that's no problem for me. You have to view the photo at 200% resolution or higher to notice a loss, and even if you do see that, you have to look carefully. For what I paid for this filter, I'm happy to know that it doesn't affect my image in any way and that it acts as a shield, protecting my glass from scratches and dust. I will be adding more of these for my lenses and will not be forced to remove the filter to take a photo like I would with others. Great product, highly recommend!
Amazing for the price - slight yellowing, vignette and barely noticeable loss of sharpness

Good protection for the lens, UV does the job, you can put the lens cover back on. Right price.
Protects the lens more UV radiation at a fair price

The UV filter has a high-quality and clean finish. I really like the blue-purple reflection and it really makes a difference. I didn't notice any changes in image quality, but there could be a slightly different, increased lens flare. If you like the look, you will be satisfied with the filter. In any case, I can recommend it as protection for the lens!

excellent filter, so transparent that at first I thought there was no glass ;););), aluminum ring, very light but often the outer ring is quite high for attaching other filters or umbrellas so that they can be screwed on stably. For the cost and the quality it is unparalleled. Definitely to recommend

It works perfectly. I see no problem with it, it looks like a gem when you see the package. When you put it on and try it on, you realize that you have actually bought a piece of jewelry. Delivered ahead of schedule and with everything that was offered.
It looks like a slate object to me.

The protective filter came quickly and was well packaged. It is also packed separately in a practical plastic box, which you can use later if you switch between ND filters or UV filters, which I personally find very practical. The protective filter makes a neatly processed impression and can be easily rotated onto the lenses. I mainly use the UV protection filter as protection because I'm outside a lot. The lens glass is often splashed/covered with dogs and children, so I can quickly clean the protective filter with a cloth without worrying about scratching the actual lens glass. If the protective filter is scratched, you simply buy a new one instead of a new lens. I do have one downside though, if you take photos at night you have unwanted glare spots from the UV protection filter, so it depends on how you hold the camera so that it isn't too strong. When photographing during the day, with direct light (sun/lamp), I personally don't find the lens flare disturbing. It makes a clean processed impression, it protects my lens, which is my top priority, so I can recommend the UV protection filter. I find value for money very good.

K&F makes decent gear for the money I found and this UV lens filter is no different. In all honesty, this is extremely well made, offering a quality finish and the feel of a seriously expensive kit. I appreciate that the jury is out on whether or not a UV filter is needed and I have no real feelings on the subject. However, what I like is that using a UV filter prevents damage to my actual lens within reason. Okay, I understand that if I drop my camera off the back of a truck it won't survive, but this lens filter will prevent minor scratches and swarf. It also keeps my fingers away from the lens and because it's flat it's easy to clean thoroughly with a cloth. Overall a no-brainer for me. I always put a UV filter on my lenses immediately after purchase just to give a bit of protection and K&F has some great filters for absolutely reasonable money.
A winner

bought this filter for my 50mm Canon 1.8 (49mm diameter). I decided to buy it to protect the lens from scratches and dust and to have a higher contrast in the photos. The purchased filter fully copes with these tasks, in addition, the materials are resistant and the price is very competitive compared to filters from other brands. I recommend buying.
