I have just received the tripod and haven't used it yet just gone through the motions of setting it up. First thing I found is the so called manual doesn't help a bit. I detached the monopod leg but the rhread on top is too big for the camera. After mucking around I found that the ball head unscrews disclosing a threaded piece that screws into the mono pod top complete with ball head to which the camera can be fixed via the quick release plate. I have always used a quick release plate on other tripods and have just ordered a spare for this one although at £19 is ridiculously expensive. Th extending arm is very useful for taking tabletop photos but I have found unless it is straight out it cannot be clamped tight and will flop down with the weight of the camera, That's the down side. The up side is that it is solid, can be extended to the height required easily, and seems it will satisfy all my needs. There is a utube video which helps a lot.

The one and only time I opened the extended tilt leg, it came apart. Each leg is very stiff, like I should oil the thin man: I may need to get use to it but the lever, seem to all be backwards. It is stable, locks the camera well!Have fun playing with it, I may go back to my old wobbly tripod!

For less than 200 bucks, it's pretty useful for sure, but after the extension arm that tilts into flatlay position fell out on the first use... I'm a little concerned for how durable it'll be.Again though, for half the price of Manfrotto, I think I'll manage.

Instructions came in a different language and the English translation was slightly misleading. One YouTube video and I was able to take pictures with a DSLR pointing towards the floor perfectly!

I've been thoroughly happy with my tripod, it's lighter, a little more compact and easier to work with than my existing tripod, which I will still use. I have one issue, the plate doesn't actually tighten enough to secure my Nikons but, I use my own plates. K&F have asked for a video of the problem which I'll happily supply, when I have the time

I'm a product and food photographer. I was on the market for a great tripod to get flatlay shots for my food photography business. I did a ton of research for months before I could zero in on this one. The Manfrotto models were way beyond my budget. I read all the great reviews and decided go with the K&F concept 72 inch model, and must admit its a stellar product. Just love how versatile it is for not only flatlyas but general use too. It's robust, has a ton of customization features and locks real well. You cannot compare this to a C-stand with horizontal arm but this one's portable and compact to carry for on-location shoots. It's the best bang for your dollars.
