This is a top-quality tri-pod. Straight out of the box I was able to attach my camera and extend it to full height. You will need a remote shutter release if you plan to use the tri-pod fully extended as it will be too tall to reach the shutter button on the camera itself. The camera feels very secure when attached to the tri-pod plate (it comes with a spare in case you are in the habit of using two cameras). The ball and socket style connection means that you can lock the camera into almost any angle and there is a separate control to enable you to twist the camera, in your chosen angled position, round 360 degrees. There are also markings every 5 degrees in case you need them. You will find the tri-pod really useful if you need to do lots of static shooting, but I found it too large and heavy to take on a casual day out with my camera. I also found that I spent much longer setting up a single shot than just using the camera alone and relying on the balance indicators on screen. If you need to take fairly repetitive shots, this will be perfect because you can ensure consistency. If you need a good quality tri-pod, I would happily recommend this one.

It’s difficult to know where to start because this tripod has so many features. Ok starting off with the basics you have a tripod that will fold up into about a 48cm length for storage in the bag provided making it very compact. At the other end of the scale, when fully extended this tripod will reach up to just over 2m tall! Each leg is tipped with a rubber foot giving a sturdy base that won’t slip, however you can remove these rubber feet to reveal metal points if that’s what you need. The legs come in three extendible sections of around 30cm each so setting this tripod to the perfect height is just a matter of extending each leg to the length you want, and the adjustments are made using very easy but secure push/pull clips. One leg has a neoprene grip on it to make for easier carrying when not in the case, although there’s also a short wrist-style carry strap attached just below the head of the unit. Other nice touches like a sprung loaded hook at the base of the central stem mean you could even do things like hang an extra weight from it for extra stability in windy conditions. The business end of the tripod (all of which can be disassembled into component parts) has a rotating ball head that can be quickly slackened and tightened. The lower sleeve can be rotated through 360º and is also marked in 5º segments for reference. The ball itself articulates to pretty much any angle you want and even includes a notch in the sleeve for tilting over at 90º. The shoe can be removed for attaching to our camera and then replaced and also features a slider that can be moved 1cm in either direction. The head of the tripod also features a circular spirit level for getting the perfect horizontal adjustment. The only thing is lacks is an extended handle which would make it easier to make fine adjustments when set up, as it is you’d have to hold the camera itself and move it. Not sure if there's a workaround as the supplied adjusters are all 'captive' so can't be replaced. The carry case has a single compartment and comes with both hand carry handles as well as a shoulder strap. My only observation is that when using the shoulder strap the zip is on the underside of the case so make sure the zip is fully closed!Stylish, robust and able to set your camera to pretty much any height and angle you want, this is the perfect camera accessory. It lacks an extended handle for fine adjustments or moving the head for videoing but at this price it's still a winner for me.

Light and easy to put in your case when you go traveling. No problems so far with this camera tripod.

This is a really substantial tripod. It will really take quite some weight. It will also put your camera wherever you want it and it will be really stable. Three absolutely adjustable legs (3 part legs) that lock tight at whatever position you choose. It has a quioock shoe plate that can be left on your camera and clipped to the tripod. Incredible.I haven't done it yet, but it can also be converted into a monopod (similar to a sort of glorified selfie stick). The tripod will also go practically down to floor level and set rigid for really low shots. I don't think there's anything that this can't do. And it folds away to practically nothing. For the asking price it is incredible. This is superb. You can't go wrong with it.

I have a tripod to use with a camera. It’s fairly basic and as a casual user, I had no idea that a tripod could offer so many additional features. For me, this is a super deluxe, all singing and dancing model and I’m blown away by how much better it is.I live in a rural area, and when I’ve used a tripod before, I’ve occasionally found it difficult to stabilise on the round tripod feet. No problem here; there are nails to lug into the ground to ensure stability. Brilliant on uneven ground and especially where wind conditions may be an issue. There are four sections to the legs so it’s truly adjustable and extends higher than my other tripod. It’s lightweight, but stable and it’s so easy to adjust. The ball head fitment and tilt function allows real precision setting and the controls are really easy to use. I have some dexterity issues because of arthritis, but setting this up was an absolute breeze. I found it easy to hold, grip and turn. It’s supplied with a quality carry case which is comfortable and I’m confident that the tripod is robust enough to use with expensive an camera. I’d be unwilling to trust a cheap tripod to support a pricey camera. I only use a tripod to take static photos; I don’t take video footage, so I’ve no idea whether this tripod is good for that particular task. I like it and it looks like it’ll last years. Very happy.

Well what can i say, the K&F Concept DSLR Tripod is absolutely fabulous. If you ask me its under priced as when I compare it to my substantially more expensive Manfrotto tripod the Manfrotto doesn't come close to the build quality, solid feel and usability of this K&F tripod. Its robust and easy to use, the head is smooth yet rock solid when i mount my 600mm lens. I couldn't ask any more. And the quality bag it comes with which is often over looked is again a quality bit of kit. not the usual stuff bag.Would I buy another one? ..........without question!

So getting this thing back in its case was a nightmare. How it fit in there to begin with I don't know. In order to jam it in I had to take the top part of it off and there's now 2 pieces that I'm not certain I'll be able to screw on which is very annoying.

I have to say I am very impressed and delighted with this tripod - 79” one - it is very well made and the fact that it doubles up as a monopod which can be used as a walking stick is brilliant and the handle grip of the walking stik is plenty high enough and adjustable ( I’m 6ft!) And of course using the monopod as a walking stick means the remainder of the tripod is even lighter to carry plus you are ready to take your next photo/video at any time. With the camera mounted on the tripod and whilst using the monopod I can raise it above my head height whilst standing which is great for filming and photographing birds nesting and even squirrel families playing. Ps it also comes with a very nice well made carry case with shoulder strap. As I said before I am very impressed and delighted with this tripod/monopod and definitely recommend it.

Slightly heavier than expected, but well made and does everything I expected of it. The tripod is quick to set up and is ready to shoot within around 90 seconds, swinging it to underslung mode in a couple of minutes. well recommended

There isn't much to say about this product other than it is superb. The build quality and sturdiness of it are exceptional for the price. It is slightly heavy but as an amateur, I'm not bothered about it being light for the price. This is the third tripod I've had since getting my first camera and I have no doubt that this will last me my lifetime. Everything works exceptionally smooth, strong and stable. Just clicking the legs into place feels premium and the quick release really is quick release.5 out of 5 in every department for me.
